Tom Scoville Speaks at the Hollywood Sai Baba Center

The Sathya Sai Baba Center of Hollywood had a very special speaker on Thursday, November 11, 2021. Dr. Tom Scovill is a retired public school educator having served 32 years in California, USA. He worked in the field of special education for children with disabilities for 11 years in teaching and 21 years in program and regional administration. In addition to degrees of Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Arts in Education, he holds an Education Doctorate from the University of Southern California. Tom served on regional and state workgroups with the California Department of Education and as chair of the state association of special education directors.
Currently in the Sri Sathya Sai International Organization Tom serves as member of the SSSIO Education Committee. He assists with content development for SSSIO website www.sathyasai.org . Previously he served as President of SSIO Region 7 USA and other regional and center level positions. He and his wife Kay have provided numerous trainings to beginning teachers in Sai Spiritual Education in Northern California. Their first trip to see Sathya Sai Baba in Prasanthi Nilayam was in 1981.
