I just got mine last week and have been using it day and night, and I really love it so far! No issues for me either!!! I have very sensitive and irritated skin. I’m glad it works well for me!
Can you use other actives with this toner or is that too irritating? I want to try this toner with a retinol or acne serum bc I have very sensitive skin and I want to use a soothing product first.
This post came just in time, this why I love this channel. 😂 Ok so I just got this…so far I love it. I have oily acne prone sensitive skin did a patch test no irritation. I’ve noticed this morning small not really acne but random raised areas like lil mini pimples just like 2 max for my entire face thinking it’s the purging 🤔. This toner has reduced my large breakouts overnight so ima be patient and see. 💕 Got this skin recommendation from you guys first!

@@slikka Ok so I highly recommend this! My skin was very clogged when I started this toner so I did have some purging, but it actually just stopped. I got the toner beginning of January, just finished my first bottle. Already got my second. My skin is so clear and smooth. If you have sensitive skin, acne-prone, struggle with texture, or need some clarification please try it! It definitely transformed my skin. Hope that helps!

I have dry skin and I used this product since its early days before they even sold it in Olive Young (I bought it in when I went to Korea’s Lalavla but the shops have closed down permanently as of today) but it does such a good job at soothing and balancing my skin that I hardly have pimples then it went viral and reach its peak it’s in 2023 and then people now has called it overrated, it’s weird haha

Yes it break out at first for 2-3 weeks. I believe this is purging then it works well on my skin
I have combination skin with few blackheads on nose and large pores on cheeks but I don't usually get acnes. Anua cleansing oil is breaking me out just after the 1st use. I'm getting small bumps all over my face

I use alot of skincare, different ingredients, and have NEVER had the slightest reaction to anything. I applied this toner to my face and neck, and woke to a rash, like a mask, to where I applied it. It was the only new product I introduced, so I think this caused it. Thanks for this video, I guess going forward I should test products first, but at 51 and using numerous products for 10 plus years, I thought I was an exception and clearly, this isn't the case. If you read this, could it maybe just not go well with other products? I apply 4-5 essence/toners, and used hyaluronic acid, resveratrol w/ ferulic acid and ceramide moisturizer the night before the breakout...
I read that if you’re allergic to sulfa drugs/antibiotics then you shouldn’t use Anua.

@@rosemarykinder72 I thought I’d mention it! There are a couple articles by dermatologists where it was mentioned, but otherwise I never saw it mentioned anywhere. I am very allergic to sulfonamides so I won’t try the product, even though it looks to be great!

When are people gonna admit and realize that just because it’s viral, trending or popular and works for “everyone else”, doesn’t mean it will work for them! Logic, and common sense? Everyone’s skin type and skin needs are different. Especially if you have certain skin condition, sensitivity or an allergy, it can even be towards foods and pollen, but because Korea uses a lot of plant extracts and oils, cross allergic reactions can and will happen. Always do your research, check the ingredients, and always do a patch test before putting something all over your face. Using once and seeing no difference isn’t good enough to claim it’s shit or bad. You have to at least use a product for 2 weeks everyday to see if it actually works. Especially with actives you have to use them consistently over a long period of time before noticeable results. And even then it may still not work for your skin. That’s just the reality of things. Not the brand, the product or Skincupids fault. Same can be said about makeup, fashion or a hairstyle. What works for you may not suit others and vice versa due to their undertones, face shape etc. Again we are all not made equal as in appearance.

A lot people speak about acne prone skin, dry skin etc but what I do not get a lot when people talk about Korean skin care is hype pigment and malasma. Are we saying everybody in Korea have perfect skin and nobody out there suffer from malasma and Hyperpigament. I want to see products that deals with these type of skin.
