I have heard so many only hear the last half of this verse in bible studies. Often s sign of a believer who loves the benefits and promises of God, but has not yet drawn close to God, has not yet become in Love with Him.
So many who say how can I have the same will as God, how can I have joy without ceasing?
I feel the answer is to truly die to self and live to Christ, to take that step of faith, to learn to trust Him completely, like Abraham did. Trust God and you will love Him as He loves you, and He will live in you, and you will have both the peace of Christ, and the Joy His Spirit brings when you truly make room for Him in your heart.
Delighting in the LORD gives us the desires of our heart because He is the one true desire of our heart. He is the treasure. Relationship with Him is our bountiful reward ❤
First time I read this Psalm. I been married over 50 yrs. Last June. What a beautiful Psalm to put to music. Thankyou. I love our Almighty God. He reigns forever and ever

The mysic carries and compliments the words and feelings of this Psalm beautifully. I am 75 and have not been priveleged to know this kind of holy love in my marriages but I can imagine it in this song. Beautifully done.

I love this psalm, especially the older Greek Septuagint version (LXX). The way it talks about Christ and his queen (her wearing gold with various colors (Psalm 45:10 LXX)) (the "Queen" = New Jerusalem/Zion (Rev. 21:2, 10-27, Isaiah 54, etc.)) and the resurrected saints accompanying them. And, Christ's robes smelling of herbs, as is fitting for the high priest and king, along with being anointed. Absolutely beautiful way of displaying the fuller gospel, the kingdom of God. 🥲🙌🏻
