And what does that stadium mean for softball? Also, Nijaree Canady. McLeod gives us the intel on how much of a chance the Sooners have of landing her. And who else could they land in the portal?

I can see doners coming to Patty and saying how much do you need.
This is going to be really interesting. I've said before that Canady's landing spot will probably win the next two championships. Given this, do you pay her $1-2 million per year? At what point would the asking price for two championships be too high?

@@jdwilmoth I guess we see it differently. I see her as a generational pitcher that is basically a kingmaker. Put her behind a lineup that can actually score a couple of runs in the WCWS and you'll win a championship.
@@allanhee I didn't say she wasn't good but it doesn't matter if she comes to Oklahoma or not they will win championships with or without her and if she expects Oklahoma to get in a bidding war for her it's not going to happen if she comes to Oklahoma that's fine but if she doesn't no big deal and it doesn't matter how good of a pitcher you are you have to have a defense and a offense to back you up
I think OU overall even though losing some key seniors Canady should consider Sooners over longhorns I just think the pitching coach is better Maxwell used a little more different pitches this season by coming to OU then what I seen seen in previous time at OSU go Sooners just my opinion.

I just can't see Texas being targeted over OU. Mike White is really good at excuses and whining. He is a great coach but tends to cry a bit much about how unfair things are. Patty Gasso is the GOAT

Don't be surprised the 8 freshman and redshirt Nelly making 9 the best draft class with Parker and KP might be better senior class and juniors some are just as good as the 5 if they all stick with the next class is loaded

Actually going to texas would make her the kevin durant of softball because she joined the team that beat her. And the warriors lost in the finals the year before he joined just like texas
