The El-Badi Palace or Le Badia (the incomparable), must have been one of the most impressive in all of Morocco in the 16th century. Currently there are only the remains of this huge building, but it is worth a visit. It is located next to the Mellah, the old Jewish quarter of Marrakech. To get there from the famous Jemaa El Fna square, you will have to take Riad Zitoum street to Place des Ferblantiers, a little further, you will find yourself with its impressive red walls filled with gigantic storks' nests. It was intended to host parties and solemn audiences for the elite of the kingdom and foreign ambassadors.
El Badi Palace (the Incomparable) was built at the end of the 16th century commissioned by Sultan Ahmed el-Mansour to commemorate the defeat of the Portuguese at Oued al-Makhazin (the Battle of the Three Kings).

قصر البديع هو قصر بُني في نهاية القرن السادس عشر، ويقع في مراكش بالمغرب. بناه السلطان السعدي أحمد المنصور الذهبي شهورا قليلة بعد تولّيه الحكم احتفالا بانتصاره على البرتغاليين في معركة وادي المخازن عام 1578. مع استمرار البناء والتزيين معظم فترة حكمه، تم تزيين القصر بمواد مستوردة من بلدان عديدة من إيطاليا إلى مالي، واختار أحمد المنصور الزاوية الشماليةألشرقية لبناء هذا القصر الذي خُصِّصَ لإقامة الحفلات وتنظيم الاستقبالات الرسمية. كان القصر جزءًا من مجمع قصور السعديين الأكبر الذي يحتل منطقة القصبة في مراكش.
