You have to look at it in a bigger picture, there are certain factors that contribute to the current issue of teenagers not being fluent in English and Malay. Firstly, it has to do with our education system, it is a well-known fact that our education system is not designed to prepare them for the real world. Secondly, poverty in Malaysia is also another contributing factor. Thirdly, less exposure is also the reason why we face this issue. It’s noted that we have to look at every issue in a bigger picture.

Yes, undoubtedly English is their official language in boosting the country’s economic prosperity, however you will see that mostly youngsters from Singapore are reluctant in learning mandarin. Back to the point, what my argument stands out is that most Malaysians are at least bilingual or trilingual, but if there is no effort taken into mastering all these languages, we are all back to square one. We will lose out and be excluded from international competition, so I do not think learning a language through an app can be long term solution.
Honestly, business english is more often used in class, not social english, meaning that they won't be able to get the spelling correctly if they don't speak english socially despite uni students

这种测试太传统了，就有如现在的人都用gps去导航，现代的人都是type多过手写，未来可能都用AI直接帮助我们写字了，我们的脑只会越依赖科技，现在我连写英文句子都是随便写simple english再用chatgpt帮我paraphrase

大学分很多种。有些大学有料，有standard。有些野鸡大学是为了赚钱给有钱人水“大学文凭”。我就有亲戚中学满江红科科不及格，但是能在台湾“ 水大学文凭”。现在很多这些“野鸡大学” 给人水“ 大学文凭的”哪个国家都有这些“野鸡赚钱为目标的大学”。专门给“成绩满江红但是有钱的人“水一个大学生”。
叫他说出来他 采访的是哪个大学和那个科系先。 野鸡大学基本没人承认那种大学的文凭也是“大学生”。不然你以为为什么那么多人去“外国水文凭”？ 政府大学不好水，去那些不用看成绩就能进的大学水文凭。
