The game revolves around the Federal Bureau of Control (FBC), a secret U.S. government agency tasked with containing and studying phenomena that violate the laws of reality. As Jesse Faden (Courtney Hope), the Bureau's new Director, players explore the Oldest House - the FBC's paranormal headquarters - and utilize powerful abilities in order to defeat a deadly enemy known as the Hiss, which has invaded and corrupted reality. Control was released on 27 August 2019 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Man when I heard Trench, I was like, "yeah that's James McCaffrey".
I was playing Max Payne 3 right before Control was released, and god damn it, the only way Trench was speaking is through monologues.
Haha, I didn't know his name, but the moment I heard his voice I was like "dude, he speaks the same way like that guy narrating Max Payne, so weird, it's also a Remedy game" :)))))))))) now it finally clicked :D

Love Antonia Bernath performance, pretty clean and adequate for explaining complex things to be honest.
Plus she's cute as heck.
They all did such a phenomenal job. Just finished my second playthrough and I can't get over how incredible this game is.
Dylan's voice actor deserves way more love than he's getting. He absolutely killed it.

I like how Langston has a cut on his lip just like his voice actor. For the longest time, I thought Courtney Hope was the only actor whose character was made in her likeness.
Why did they make Langston balding though?
Jesse, Dr. Darling, and Trench had live-action portrayals in the game by the same actors, and Ahti is made to look like his actor (who is a Finnish celebrity). Idk about the others, never seem to be confirmed, but they really do look like their voice actors who can play them in live-action.

You know if the MCU is creating their X-Men film, I do hope they cast some lesser known actors imo. Courtney Hope as Jean Grey would be perfect after playing her character in this game.
The thing about Martti Suosalo is that he’s very well known in finland :) He’s basically in every kids show with singing, has been in many movies and musicals.. It’s pretty cool!

OMG ,YESSS!!! Sigourney Weaver from her time in Alien ! I was wondering where I saw that serious,surly expression before ! IMO ,Jesse is carrying a lot of guilt,heartache and anguish over 17 years since Ordinary to the point it's quite reflected in her facial lines .
They messed up her jaw..and her eye color is a bit too dark. Her hair too i think .

They really exaggerated the hell out of Courtney Hope's jaw. Made her look like Jason Newsted.
I think Courtney looks hotter in real life. Sure, Mass Effect Andromeda kinda promoted the trend (some criticize MK11's Jaqui Briggs of looking less attractive than the real model). That said, all she gotta do is put an outfit together and we got ourselves a r/TrueCastingCosplay post, cosplays of animated characters by the actual actors/animators/models.

Andromeda's default female Ryder and her real life model didnt even share any similarities,
why even hire a reference model when her look gets butchered so badly...

Matthew Porretta gave the best performance IMO.
TBH, I didn't like Control that much, not my cup of tea.
But I will admit that the labyrint section with the rock music was awesome.
So sad somthing that actually everyone can see here in this video... the caracters faces looks most of the time blurred in the game . The game is good not great to be honest but the performance issues are real in this game. Seems to me Remedy learned NOTHING from Quantum Brake problems. -_-
