Hey- just a quick idea. Take the CAD and have the ring printed by a 3D printer. Either figure out how to use one (they are really easy if you have everything in CAD) or go online to find one and have it sent to this person to print. This service is not expensive, is not all that more effort, and is honestly not done by ANYONE that I have ever worked with but the return in satisfaction that your clients will get is worth more than the gold that their piece will be made from.
