The production level is even higher than last year and combined with the story and emotions, it kept me engaged for the entire episode which is something that rarely happens in the modern era of YT. This is trail running.
This episode has great quality! Getting stoked for the upcoming season!
omg because i remember the race where Manuel got points taken for the sticks ! Him crossing that finish line first gave me goosebumps bruhhhh thank God im sweating bullets because im in tears what a feeling crossing first !!! against such a great opponent 💪

To me it seems that this coverage elevates trail and mountain running from a niche sport to a major event. Finally, all the wonderful people who race and organize get the attention they deserve! You can really tell that the sport is run by enthusiasts, not investors.
The quality of the shots and the edit is insane.
Well produced video. Tells an engaging story and really brings the human aspect of these athletes to the forefront. If you already follow the GTWS you know the outcome of the race but this video keeps you engaged from start to finish! Kudos!

One thing I find very interesting from the approaches of Remi and Manu is how different they are, but, at the same time, giving similar results. Remi is more "scientific" and "meticulous"; Manu is more "organic" and maybe "old-school" (in fact, his training log is a paper notebook, he doesn't use heart monitors, training stress scores nor sports nutrition products). I guess, "there are many ways to skin a cat", as Paul Laursen ususally says. Fantastic video! Waiting for the next episode.

Did anyone else catch the training log that shows training months ranging from 766km/month to 956km/month?
I thought I was doing a lot of work in my training, then I saw that... 800k+ and 60000m+ elevation/ month :O

There was more coverage of Remi's girlfriend than of some of the womens racing. Really aggravating during the season
I noticed that both Remi and Manu are cat guys, and Manu also has a dog. That tells me they both are great guys in addition to being great athletes.
Who tf ever said Manu can t run 🤡🤡🤡🤡😂😂😂😂. Maybe they are blind.
Hope it's better than last seasons garbled coverage, sporadically fantastic, it should have been more.
