As an ESTJ, I agree with what you say that we dont know what we want but very aware what people wants for us. Growing up, i have excelled both in academics, arts and music but all the while I dont know why I do all of those things. I was also very achievement-focus because my parents hold it in high regard. I always make sure I befriend people who I deem successful because I want to emulate them. I even went to the gym regularly and make sure I am dressed primply. It had nothing to do with attracting men, but all about attracting success. I told my younger siblings that how you present yourself will determine how others perceive you. Once you manage others' perception, then you gain better opportunities. At the back of my mind, I do wonder who I am if I am not intelligent. I guess, it proves your point about feeling worthy. I ended up taking a career in healthcare even if I hate it because it's a lucrative career and nothing scares me more than failure. I persevered and eventually appreciate it because Im good at what I do.
I usually come across ruthless or unfeeling. Honestly, I feel deeply but I also know it's foolish to make decisions based on emotions so I usually just brush it off and focus on results.
I am also female ESTJ. Sometimes we come across as intense and ruthless but honestly a lot of it is jealousy on the part of other personality types. There are some who understand me and some don’t but I’ve given up on caring about the latter because I am content in life and blessed for all I have worked for. I’ve been married to an INFP for 13 years and it has been great.
@@lotz871 im happy for you. I married an ISFJ and we are so compatible. I would always joke that there should be atleast one good person in this marriage.
If I can be honest about myself, I am ruthless and uses connections to further my ambitions and ensure my family's success. Im not even the slightest sorry for it.
I wish I were ESTJ, too. This video was so calm, nice to watch and good to listen to. No shouting at all. Beautiful.
- INFP
Hey you are great and beautiful too! Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. You don't need to act/work to be someone else. You are unique, amazing and charming on your own.
-ESTJ
I had a teacher who I think was an ESTJ (I'm an INTJ) and I made a comment on how I disagree with the preservation of people with dementia (because I think it's cruel) and she yelled out in front of the class how nasty I am because her mom had dementia. Afterwards I apologised to her (can you believe I, as an INTJ had the will to do that, it was so hard) and she told me she doesn't hold grudges! Now that's the biggest bullshit I've ever heard!
My mom is an estj and believed me, she has not forgiven her primary school teacher who bullied her for being poor. She's 62 this year. We have a good life now. She's proud of her rags to riches story. So she came back to her school bearing gifts and treated most of her teachers... Except for that teacher.
I usually tease her that it shows that she came from a farming family. She plant grudges like they're precious crop. Hahaha
@@maylynbayani omg hilarious..
Hey dude, as an ESTJ I will say that I also don't hold grudges. It's almost like a policy of mine. If I don't like someone's character, I will distance myself from them and never talk to them. If I do talk to them, it means I have forgiven them.
An ESTJ getting mad at something an INTJ said or did is completely normal due to our Ni blindspot. We just don't trust Ni (except the very developed ESTJ's).
I'm an ESTJ and yeah this is pretty much 85% me.
This series is gonna be like a tool kit for Templars to use when improving others. But it's just as valuable to everyone else too.
Yep 🤓
I can't wait for the INTJ one. This topic is great😍
Has it come out yet? (Went looking for it but didn't find it)
@@obcane3072 I don't think so. Wow this has 60 likes, a lot of people must want it
Me too, it's sure going to be a 10-year wait worth the while! 😆😆😆
As an ESTJ, this is very surreal to hear laid out.
They can be a pain, but you can also utilize them to your benefit.
We will cut you if we sense being manipulated and used though..be careful and be genuine 🙏💖
It's official, Dario Nardi (Ph.D) now has the Cs Joseph seal of approval
Wow! I was not expecting this!! I saw the private video in season 24 and thought it was some mistake. But boy am I glad that its a new public lecture series.
Thank you Chase!!
Wow, this is going to be an interesting season. I can’t wait for the next videos. This is basically like season 3 except more in-depth. Awesome!
Thank you, Joseph! I have been watching your channel since you had only 5K subs. You are the light in a dark room. I don't have much, but you got my gratefulness for your effort and your wisdom. You are the best!
Uau! I've been trying to discover my MBTI in almost 5 years. Finally I found something that REALLY realy with me, in all funcions stack. Thank you, it was very informative
Thank you sharing this season! I can't wait to see the INFP one! ...next year lol.
I second this INFP motion :)
Haven’t watched yet. Totally psyched for this season! Keep up the great work Chase!
Thank you for making these- I’m excited!
I didnt know I needed this series so much, Thank you!
Thank you so much for taking the time to teach all of that!
First off! Thank you Chase for making this season publicly available. Second off... Can't wait to watch/listen to my S24 video! I'll have to wait until you get through all of the Extraverts.I'm glad I'm not an INFP, that would take forever!!! Keep on keepin on with this awesome content. It's helped me in so many ways!
10/10 video, accurate & precise but still wholistic, optimistic presentation, improved video editting and just man your vibe is on point! Thank you for that value bomb Chase! Really excited for the NT ones!
Spot on. As usual 😁 My estj husband talks about the great Tom Brady at least once every day lmao
Really excited for the rest of the types! Very interesting!
Awesome! Loving this new season!
This just makes me wish my estj subconscious were my ego type even more 😅
Thank you for this video. I feel like watching my entire life in a flash with this. Very peaceful and therapeutic. Thank you Joseph.
Fe Demon minute 41- I’m thinking about the ESTJ narcissist I knew ten years ago. It’s interesting comparing the specific ESTJs I know or have known while listening to this. I think this series might be one of my favorites. This is gold.
There is a little left to finish all the lectures and I am sad. I want more lectures. One a day is enough. I am excited for this season. Please continue.
Thank you for this Chase. Keep them coming.
For once go from the last! 😶
From infp!
Were going to have to wait soooo long 😭
@@Emily.J. exactly, always!
I agree, although I’m intp, it would be cool to switch it up
Thanks CSJ. Awaiting the rest.❤ Please keep up the good work. I know it's hard at times, but you're an inspiration man.
This series gonna be good 🔥
The stock video cutaway is kinda nice to highlight your points. It allows the message to land better. Also using visuals for your references I.e books Is good.
Though the lecture was long, it was quite well organized. Awesome 💯
cant wait for the infp and infj lecture!!!!!!!
can't wait for the re-shoot for ISTPs! this is a better vid blog than season 3!
Thanks for making this available to all Chase, excellent and well balanced lecture. I can't wait for the rest of the series - am I going to have to wait until last for INFP (wow there are so many of us out there absolutely obsessed with all things personality) although I won't know what to do if you don't spank my type at least once during the lecture.
Last bench INFP squad 👍
Love the thing you said about Si attention span!!!!!! And how it affects adhd diagnosis, education, and work force systems!
Thank you for the video 🙏
This lecture was amazing!!!
Fantastic. So helpful.
Hell yeah! Season premiere
Thank you so much for this key to another door of self conscious of mine.
29:48 is the ESTJ I'm dating. I cry trying to help them. I'm an ESTP
This topic is awesome!!!
Amazing video. Will keep coming back to it, as it is filled to the brim with information. I like the way each function and roll are well defined, and they fit well with my lived experience. Ni trickster is the most frustrating thing at my current stage of life, and I just realized after this video that I was wrongfully placing the blame on Fi inferior. In spite of the Ni blindness, I've recently stumbled upon some leisure activities that have really clicked with me, and thought it good to share: 1 - Miniature painting + wargaming. The painting is extremely relaxing in the evenings. The wargaming is fairly obvious with Te so high. 2 - Reading sci-fi or fantasy that has a heavy dose of comedic satire and absurdity (Jack Vance, Douglas Adams, etc.) - seems to delight my Ne child, perhaps amongst other things. Cheers!
If any of you want to get into Carl Jung specifically and don't know where to start I recommend
Carl jung knowledge in a nutshell by Gary Bobroff.
The portable Jung by Joseph Campbell
Very informative. Thank you
I think this is a really high quality video
Thank you
Haven't watched yet, I'm gonna bet it is removing chaos !
Well I wasn't that far
Thanks so much!
We’ll done! I would love this format for INFJ - feel much more to gain than the existing version that seems to focus on the immature version of the type rather than this format
Will we ever see more episodes of this season? I love your approach to this topic here and i'd really want to see more of it. I've watched this video like 3-4 times since it was released hah
Yeah it just got pushed back, it’s the main one after S31 is finished

Ok cool, so according to what you're saying about Fe at the end of your video, it's not that bad that I laughed when the ESTJ asked me if he had a good heart? I'm not gonna lie and say yes he's very good, even if his status required me to and everyone else is gonna lie to him about it.
I can't respect someone who diminishes others because of their 'lower position' like if they're less educated or poor. A strong leader lifts people up, and I truly respect Fe-doms for that.
Fe doms seek to elevate their feelings, while Te doms seek to elevate their success rate. The Te dom feels the Fe dom is slapping a band-aid on problems requiring surgery, and they are not always wrong.
@@LadyIarConnacht I'm an INTJ so I'm not blaming their Te, I'm simply saying that they're neglecting their Fi imo. I know they have weak Fe but their Fi seems a little shaky to me and it's the source of their problems.
@@claudiadinca3846 I think that's because most people don't suspect their partners of cheating them out of anything, not because he's excessively naïve or trusting.
Oh my goodness. I will now fall over and die.
Definitely helps me to be better at sensors thing as an intj
Better safe than regrets (again)
I am glad you are discussing extroverted thinking. In some people like Ben Shapiro it's saturated and annoyingly present. In other people like Joe Biden, I just don't hear it as often. For the introverted thinkers, do they not focus on what the authorities (experts) or references say in journals and studies? Would it be only an extroverted thinker who would say something like 'typology is BS because the accredited scientific community does not recognize it'? How would an introverted thinker make that argument?
Yes. They are just outsourcing their thinking. Adopting beliefs without verifying because they appear credible. Just because a group of people agree something is true (credibility) doesn’t mean it’s actually true
(10:10)
***Perry the platypus has entered the chat***
(Edit)
I grew up absolutely obsessed with playing sports and I tell ya, ESTJ's make excellent referees & mediators.
In fact, I've seen a few ESTJ's be accused of being disloyal because they simply refused to demonstrate injustice driven nepotism.
They have a very:
"Come on man, you should know better than to do something sh!tty *&* demand I take your side," sorta attitude & overall vibe.
Good stuff as always Chase.
(Edit2)
Actually, no.
I don't think "good stuff" is aptly accurate enough feedback.
This is by far some of your best work.
I'm looking forward to the whole season.
(Sub'd)
Can you please do intj next? I would really appreciate it so I can integrate it into my creative ideas. I respect your intellect so much and I would really like to know what you have to say! Thank you ☺️
Thank you for putting this series on CZcams!
ESTJs can be the most intelligent people in the room because of Te Si but Ti makes people intelligent and Ti nemesis is why ESTJs worry they aren't intelligent... I'm going to keep pointing this out when I hear about it in your lectures. Intelligence is such a meme.
Academically intelligent I guess
@@Yunixes lol
We are our worst enemy..usually the rational decisuin is to do more research though, to keep up with standards and get the job done.
And all the control types that were so triggered by Chases chaotic starter type early videos can enjoy his work for once 😂😂
I will share this with all the control types that told me to tell u to being order to your videos 😂
What is life purpose of the ENTJ? TO CONTROL EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING. Just kidding!
Tom Brady likes to stand in the pocket typical of SJs quarterbacks. While SP quarterbacks tend to move out of the pocket and are better runners. SJs tend to dominate at pitching in baseball and are also good golfers like ISTJ Jack Nicklaus, both stationary positions.
I'm commenting this before having watched the video, but I personally think MBTI can get dangerous if we use it as a tool to tell someone what their whole purpose in life is. There are so many factors that go into figuring out our purpose in life and personality is only a small portion of that. Just my thoughts. Been subscribed to you for a long time. Love your stuff. This is just a thought I have on this particular idea.
MBTI is a lie
cant wait for infp !
You should refer to the functions as being stacked in order of their consciousness instead of awareness, since it gives more context to the term "unconscious" as it is used as a name for that side of the mind.
No thanks. This is better for the lay people
It really interests me that in almost every ESTJ video you seem to mention that they really like sports or are very fit people. I know an ESTJ that although they are for sure an ESTJ they hate sports and have never been fit in their life. Just something that fascinates me I guess.
INFP focused 😌 I’m under the impression most INFPs can’t handle sport(especially televised) I have this INFP friend who hates sport soooo much he relished in the fact that no one at all would get to enjoy it (during the Covid lockdown)
Hahaha i'm another example of this i don't hateee sports but i'm to lazy to go to gym bro and i love food so much that i'm no longer fit for years. The last time i was fit is like when i was 12 😂😂😂😂😂 so 10 years ago 😂 I mean i'm not fat just chubby but beacuse i'm an estj it REALLY bothers me especially beacuse i'm fatter now than ever. Since this corona shit i don't leave house often anymore i got SO lazy and SO depressed i don't waste this crazy amount of energy so i got fat and i hateeeee ittt i'm so not used to this brooooo 😭😭😭😭😭😭 but i'm to LAZY to do anything anymore and this online studying is gonna kill meeeeeee it's a neverending cycleeeee heeeelppp 🤣🤣 Sorry for this emotional outburst i just had to. 😂
I think its more about competitiveness, reaching goals and climbing the sports ladder structure that is dominant for ESTJs. Sugar addiction with insulin resistance greatly.affects the body negatively. Because Im an ESTJ RN, I can tell you Ive deeply researched this topic but will sound arragant if I push it. Moving your body is good but diet is everything. Diet doctor has a good website with evidence based info, recipes and lots of videos on yt. I was team captain most of the time while.playing multiple sports but it was more the competition and drive to learn and improve.
“It’s true that Fi users often have a superiority complex.”
I nearly died laughing.
Also, not sure if I should put this as a separate comment, but I don’t like all the new words you’re using, like “Teenager” or “Grandparent” for functions. Please go back to the old ones.
I am an ESTJ by a point or two. My E and S are both 52/48 and 48/52. Closely scoring closely to introverted and intuitive should be considered.
Hey chase, can you do a series an how substances affects the mind ? also great job, congrats
He talked about how drinking affects the ego and shadow.
@@pingz2454 But he knows about jung psychology. I asking him to talk about how affects the for sides of the mind. Just because you don't have a little peace of paper on your wall don't necessarily
means you don't know about stuff. Wtf
@@pietart3596 i know, but not that deeply
I think this calls for a "How to type: Seattle Seahawks Retro Edition; Richard Sherman, Marshawn Lynch, & Russell Wilson" sesh...

I truly believed Bono of U2 is an ENFJ but after watching some interviews I can see the INFP subconscious focus and ESTJ ego. Bono mentioned that growing up after his mom passed away that he would start fights or get into fights which can be a result of his ISTP shadow or ENFJ demon.
There is this ESTJ guy I am talking to, and he is a simp on another level.
He never says what he wants and cares WAY too much about what I want, seems to care a lot about presentation, doesn’t value emotional intelligence as much as me, and etc.
Maybe you should mention the focus of each of the types and how that affects the way all the different types behave or appaear like in this series
Can you do a video on describing the symbols you have for the 16 personalities?
Interesting that NFJ can also be good in the academic arena
@@Wicca_Witchcraft I'm an infj and yes we can perform quite above average in academic if we just practice and you know I suck at math when I was younger and now I'm quite good in it..the problem is I don't like most education system including in my place as well because I don't have the capacity to memorize everything but hey that Ni is quite useful to have the will to memorize more(doing it long-term might not be healthy) especially when I am in pressure basically when the exam is Tomorrow suddenly I can memorize more than I used to(but after the exam was finished I lost almost or atleast I feel like I don't remember what I read after 1 week has passed by after the exam)..so I hypothesize that Ni may act as an amplifier for other cognitive functions especially when I needed it the most to complete a specific task in a short period possible..btw,I like to learn using my hands to produce something(because I want to test if what the theory I read is true or not) and learn the theory from there..I do emphazie both practicality and theory but quite honestly theory interest me more.
@@Wicca_Witchcraft I can memorize facts quite easily when it is related to things that I want to do.
@@Wicca_Witchcraft I also able to memorize more easily if I can apply the things I read into practice..so action is required to contain that memory.
@@Wicca_Witchcraft I don't disagree, but INTJs tend to be really good at math and they are Te parents. Thoughts?

In one video you responded to an INFP who reported their parent/sibling types and you said that wouldn’t happen (these specific kid type results based on those parents type combos) and in another video you mentioned how (I think) like dominant cognitions wouldn’t be duplicated by the kids, I think in a way like the kid wants to please the parent or compensate so if they were the same type hero would maybe rely on another side of their mind. (Sorry for bastardizing that) But do you have a video where you talk about how kids types would potentially come about based on parent types?
I have typed myself and been typed by others as INFP and ENFP (not in your system necessarily). Although I do think I present often as a behaviorally introverted ENFP, I have always felt something is horribly wrong with that typing. I know for sure on your type grid that I am not focused in my ego at all. By all accounts I am extremely inconsistent in your descriptions.
At this point I have typed my mom as a IXXP, seems ISTP but I can’t read her - she can fix or figure out any technical problem. She is an artist but is all about figuring out how to do something with the art and less about the creative aspect. She gets down on herself for not being creative even though she can create, design and implement anything and has no mechanical fear whatsoever. Cares deeply for others but won’t engage in emotions. Step dad came into the picture at age 6. He is without a doubt, ENTP and extraordinarily abrasive, but absolutely on point with moral implications to support that Te (he’s 80 and cognitively developed but still rough)I had quite significant trauma before age 6.
My current thinking is that I’m an ESTJ with INFP focus. I’m definitely leading with an inhibited dominant extroverted function. I use Ne in times of stress and to joke around. I’m not creative (at all!) and although I suck at self care, I know exactly what others need and bust my ass to do it regardless of how I feel. Like gotdamn, my son likes the brown towel and he’s happy in the morning if no one used so I make that happen. And as in this video, I am mostly unaffected by how other people feel. I get tons of praise at work but what I care about was I fixed their problem and that will give them a better life.
I hope you can read and respond. Sorry it’s long. You truly are so great at what you do and this system you’ve got is the only one that makes sense full scale IMO.
I haven't published any videos on that aspect of children typing patterns just yet. I do feel as if I've got a handle on many of the patterns so now I'm in data collection mode to verify.
As far as typing yourself, If going to www.udja.app doesn't work, download the free type grid companion at csjoseph.life and work through that, you'll get your answer. Or if you're impatient you can always get a 15 min typing session.
