You should ALWAYS have a means to get your car started on you, either jumper cables or the Mophie Powerstation. These are much safer than cables, easier to use, and don't require you finding a willing volunteer and their car.
There are countless places where you can buy a power unit like this, and other models, but I really like the Mophie Powerstation (after it saved me at 5am once already) and getting it from Kies Motorsports!

I had the same thing happen...my FJ Cruiser battery died the day the Mophie came in the mail. I hooked it up and jumped the car within minutes. I'm not too fond of regular jumper cables as I am always afraid I will hook them up backward. I have used the Mophie for my mower and tractor as well. Great investment. Got one for each car now. I have used it for power outages, too! The flashlight came in handy, but charging my cell phone and laptop was great.

Hi good video. I have this same model. Do you know if there is a manual override function to bypass the voltage/safety checks? This might be useful if a battery is completely dead, as it wouldn’t allow a jump starter to jump the battery bc it could trigger a reverse polarity.
Not that I am aware of at least.

Right.. because I had an emergency and tore it out of the box.. couldnt setup a camera to film during a crisis. 8)
