Awesome. Porcupine Meat is one great album. I have all of Bobby Rush's albums and then some... Many people tried to deny his blues because of his style which crosses funk, soul, rnb, rock... Bobby Rush makes music, but the core is blues. This is the way it was done in the beginning. Many people play the blues, only Bobby Rush has done blues like he has... No offense, but BB King or Eric Clapton do not have the swagger that Bobby Rush brings. Bobby Rush has what Muddy Waters and Howlin Wolf had. Bobby Rush has elements of others, yet he is unique. Bobby Rush is comfortable being him in kind/humbling presence, singing, lyrics, show, 100% all the time. Bobby Rush is not someone who decided to sing the blues... He is what he loves to do.
