Structured Data and Rich snippets - A complete (but simplified) guide

Structured data has for some time now been an essential part of most SEO strategies. However, there are a lot of buzzwords related to structured data that make it all quite confusing.
Schema markup, rich snippets, rich results, and schema.org are among the most popular ones. So what does all of this mean? and how does this help us with our SEO?
In today's video, we're going to do a deep dive into structured data, understand the relationship it has with schema markup, and how this can lead us to take part in rich results. Schema.org is simply where we go to know exactly how we add the schema mark up on our website.
I will also touch upon a few WordPress plugins that can help you with your structured data, and even show you a specific recipe schema plugin that works really well in WordPress.

Dear Jaume, great video! Thanks, you made things clear and easy to understand. Still, I would like to offer my feedback on a little detail. I think it would be easier to follow if you would include fewer cuts in the video. Especially the ones where you cut from showing code/page content for just a few seconds and then cutting to your face while explaining something. I think the sphere with your face in the bottom is a particularly good solution, especially if you just continue to explain something.

Great video! I’m just confused with Article schema vs FAQ schema. The majority of blogs include a question and an answer, so do I incorporate FAQPage schema into Article schema too? 😂

Sure thing! If your blog post is mainly an article but also has a FAQ section, you can totally use both Article and FAQPage schema together.
