    Utah HC is a temporary name for this season. They did the vote to find the fan favorite. Which will take over in 2026. You also praise the jazz jeresys who are owned by the same owner as the utah hockey club so hopefully the permanent named branding has better jerseys too.

    It's not their actual name. It's temporary why they get all the legal stuff for the actual name taken care of.

    I feel like Utah just picked HC as a place holder, expecting the idiot Coyotes owner to fumble the naming rights of the Yotes, just like he did with the arena negotiations, and then sweep in and buy the Coyotes naming rights, history and iconic jerseys

      Still think there is a chance of that happening. Can't see the NHL being stoked about UtahHC. They'll push it through eventually.

      ​@DanoFSmith-yc9tg name is a placeholder. They made that public information. New name will be announced for 2025-2026 season.

    Call them the Utah Coyotes. There are coyotes in Utah, just as there are in Arizona.
