Probably the best tutorial I've seen on the Fusion topic, and there are some very good ones. Great job!
Yeah, nice tutorial
@mr Oz.. can you link me some of these good tutorials.. Hard to find for me 🙏
YES YES
Casey, your videos are amazing! Thank you for taking the time to create them. I am new to editing and watching your video has helped me a lot!!
Fusion has always scared me away. I am no longer scared. I will watch this 8 more times. Thank you Casey!
Haha same here
Finally a tutorial for beginners, that does what it says on the box. This is the only tutorial I've seen so far that explains Fusion clearly, in a way that beginners can understand. Thank you Casey, that's great work, clean, simple and very well explained indeed. You're the best.
yes really bro
Thank you for this (and the other) great tutorials. Love the way things are explained and shown. Easy to follow
This was fantastic.
In a concise way, you clearly described the process and also included vital little details.
Thank you.
I can't believe how good this tutorial is. I knew very little about the Fusion tab in Resolve, but now I feel I can actually play around with it and have an idea of what I'm doing.
Thank you, you've earned another sub who will be checking out more of your tutorials.
Man! Your videos are the most easiest (and entertaining) to watch. I've been searching for easy to follow tutorials using Davinci Resolve 16 and you my man are it! Thank you for sharing. New Subscriber here!
Thank you so much for this fundamental tutorial, this is the 1st time I watch through a full clip of davinci tutorial without skipping any part. I like your sense of humor, and of course learned a lot. Great job and keep it up!
I was intimidated by many videos on fusion. you made it super clear! Thanks so much!
Congratulations! I agree... this is the best tutorial I have seen on the soo complex fusion tab. You done a VERY good job!
That was a really helpful video and was exactly what I was looking for. An in detail explanation of how nodes work as opposed to layers.
Thanks again and keep up the good content
Thank you so much after watching this everything makes so much more sense. I was just briefly before to give up. Amazing tutorial!
This video helped me understand the intimidating fusion tab that I've avoided for so long. Turns out it can do a lot more than I expected. Thanks for the succinct tutorial!
Once again this was super helpful! Love the way you don’t just assume people will know what a keyframe or a node is.🙏🏽
Just started my resolve journey and love your lessons and how you teach. Thank you!
Just wanted to thank you for this - jumping over from After Effects so having to learn nodes from scratch but you're making it clear, straightforward, and entertaining - you're fantastic at what you do.
Awesome video! This tutorial was explained so well! I'm a complete beginner in this field and you made it so easy to understand! Thank you!
Best Resolve tutorial I've ever seen. Possibly t
Best tutorial ever of any kind. Exactly what I needed.
Thanks, it's one of the best videos about how to use the Fusion! So clear!
So good! I've been annoyed with the shortcomings of layers and finally took the time to understand nodes. Thanks for helping, great tutorial!
Fusion was something I was avoiding using if I could, but this made it all so clear and a less frightening tab to visit. Plus the show I was just one wanted something interesting doing with an archive photo of a steamer boat. The steam from the coffee cup skill when straight to making smoke come out of the boats funnels. Client loved it! Fantastic range of tutorials that have been my most shared with fellow editors as my top pick. Thank you!
Awesome! The best way to understand the concept of nodes in fusion. Thank you, sir.
Thx Casey! You're such a good teacher and it's so easy to follow along compared to other tutorials. You definitely gained a new subscriber tonight 👍
I think the narration and systematic introduction approach had almost demystified the whole animation in video editing, thank you!
This video totally changed my view of editing. This was the best video about editing I have seen in a long time. hope that he continues posting awesome videos.
what an awesome intro to fusion. This makes wanna buy your CZcams course (and maybe the vfx course(s) after that). You have a very good way to explain and I love the speed (not too slow, not too fast).
I have watched several tutorials, I like yours the best . It got me moving fast .
Thanks for this video, Casey. It continues to be very helpful.
I really enjoyed your method of teaching. I'll definitely check out your master course.
Thank you very much, and keep the videos coming.
I really appreciate you explaining the difference between AE (or other layer-based workflows) and Fusion. I know as I've tried to learn DR independently that I've often gone with the AE way instead of the Davinci way. Great stuff, you've got a new sub.
Great tutorial. For a beginner used to working with layers in other products this really helped crystalize nodes for me.
Thank you so much. I have watched so many tutorials and this is the only one that made sense, btw loved you in Deadpool
Really a superb video!!!!! Clearly explained everything about fusion. Thanks Casey!
It's a really good tutorial for beginners, neither too less nor too much. Thanks mate!
15 minutes in and immediately like. This was way more helpful than other tutorials I followed. The clear explanation and going through it step by step really helped! Thank you for breaking it down into easy to follow, step by step instructions.
This visually confirms for me why I like nodes. It reminds me of the how the brain works i.e. neural networks linking brain regions, electric circuit. Thank you for bringing that vision to life with the great teaching 🙏
most CZcams tutorials move waaaayyy to quickly. Nice pacing and thank you for not assuming that I know anything about this. Your description of each item and how it fits into the other items really helped my neurons make the first few connections. Much appreciated!
This is just GOLD. awesome tutorial. Love the pace
this is so cool. my first proper look into node based compositing. This gets me sooo excited!! I love using nodes in blender, for materials, so this is gonna be the best thing!! Thanks for the introduction!!!!!!!
Fantastically clear and to the point. Thank you! Exactly the kind of video I needed
Thanks for taking the time to make this and share your knowledge. You made it easy to understand for a complete beginner like me.
I think many people often underestimate the time and effort that goes into creating a valuable tutorial. Thanks Casey!
Really great video. Very clear, with important information. Best beginner tutorial !!!! Thanks !
i've been ssing around on a friends soft soft for years, finally bought it. I found your videos and instantly subscribed and have been
Thank you so much for this basic tutorial. I wanted to create an outro for my channel and was struggling with Fusion. But now i feel a lot more confident to create it on my own.
very excellent! clear step by step learning that reinforces the sticking of the skills needed
Very informative tutorial. Thank you Casey! Great job.
Thanks. A really concise overview, just what I needed to understand the fundamentals of Fusion.
Wow, you can really explain things that are complicated in a simple way!
WOW.....This is one of the best tutorials in understanding on how fusion works and what it does. I look forward to viewing and learning more about how to work with DVR. Thanks.... BTW, I just subscribed to your channel.
BRILLIANTLY done video. Thank you so much, exactly what I needed.
You just taught me so much in less time than I've tried to learn in the past week on my own... Thank you kind sir
Casey, that was well done. I didn't fall asleep...I usually do during youtube DaVinci tutorials. Thank you.
You are the best Fusion teach on CZcams brother! Thank yous so much!
I am a very new beginner at 58 and i subscribed to your channel a little while ago - your tutorials are top notch - still trying to take all of this in but amazingly helpful - thanks
This is EXACTLY the video I was looking for and needed. I've seen a lot of other tutorials on how to make effect "X" happen, but when they jump into this page/tab, I'm always at a loss as to just what the hell it is and what the hell everything they're showing me means!
As someone who is used to working with Visual Studio and creating SSIS packages, the functionality of this page actually makes sense to me!
Thanks for this video! fusion was so confusing to me at first, but this really helped me get it more! gonna check out some of your other videos to learn more, you had great delivery and pacing that i can learn from! most YT videos can't help me that way. appreciate it!
Hi, I enjoy your tutorials very much very concise clear and understandable, I wish a lot more presenters would follow you in putting a circle around the mouse pointer, some do but many more do not, it's especially helpful if like me a lot of viewer's watch on a smartphone, keep up the good work highly enjoyable 😊
A must look for anybody trying to grasp fusion specially if you come from layer based programs Easy and straight to the point It does not get better than this Thanks
love it. i’ll keep up to date w this channel. all things
After watching 10 other Resolve videos, this particular one has convinced me to switch from Premiere for good. Thanks!
Thanks for posting so frequent lately! Really appreciate you sharing all your knowledge.
My pleasure!
Thank you so much!! I can manage my way from here. But I was clueless about the planar track ( I know how to use one, I just didn't know where to look for one here in Resolve). Amazing video. Fantastic explanation.
Maybe it's me but this came at just the right time to answer my questions about Fusion. The explanations are clear without being oversimplified and the pace is excellent.
TNice tutorials is by far the best soft soft basic tutorial, I rember when I just started learning, tNice tutorials was so helpful!! I’ve now been releasing edm

I cannot thank you enough for this awesome tutorial. This is super helpful!
Great progression through the topics, wonderful tutorial.
Thanks! I learned a lot of Adobe Software last year but can't afford to keep that software so Resolve being a one time purchase is perfect for me. And now I even know how animation works in Resolve!
Awesome tutorial. I was struggling with nodes and your video made it so simple to understand. Thank you very much! :)
I'm new to DaVinci Resolve and was very confused about Fusion and Nodes. I have been trying to learn about them from a complete novice point of view. This tutorial was the best explanation I have come across. Well Done. Thanks.
Cool video and thanks for sharing this. I've honestly never used fusion before. It kinds of baffles me so this was a great help. All of our videos have been edited on Davinci Resolve. Such a great video editor. Keep safe folks.
It has already been said on the comments, but this is the best tutorial on Fusion I've seen on youtube. gogogo!!
