- MY DAD LOVES EXPLORING THE PHILIPPINES!
Join our Bukidnon Family Adventure as we travel via many "bitukang manok" roads (chicken intestine shaped) to the magnificent valleys, canyons and mountains of Mindanao's central province.
The first evening we visit the "Lawis Grand Canyon" in Manolo Fortich - it is truly incredible, and a sight to behold!
The second day we check out Kaamulan festival before taking a random adventure looping around Cabanglasan to Sumilao - via some hanging bridges!
Day three is the western side of Bukidnon; via the Del Monte pineapple fields to Talakag and its mighty Limunsudan/Mindamora/Bayug Falls - a double drop waterfall believed to be the second highest in the Philippines (after Aliwagwag!)
Then onwards through Lantapan and back to Cafe sa Bukid - which has changed a bit since my last visit!
Bukidnon - a very special province!

It may not compare to the real Grand Canyon of Arizona where I live, but I feel proud that we have our own version of the Canyon in Mindanao which has its own unique character and beauty. It's good timing too that your Dad got to see a festival in Bukidnon. I love the art gallery there. The waterfalls is so majestic. What a great aerial shot. They all have unique perspectives & of course I enjoy the ones I follow, but yeah KD is quite something. I’m newer to viewing him, but I have this feeling he doesn’t want that. Just my feeling no facts. I enjoy viewing N & L too, very much, esp the baby. But I suspect we may not get to see her a whole lot, if Anselm has his druthers. Toddlers are the best! They are so funny & break our hearts everyday!

Someone old enough to talk, but still with the eyes of innocence and exploration? None! Not Kulas (not yet anyway). Not Mikey Bustos. Not Finn Snow. Not Wil Dasovich. Most of the Fighter Boys are still single. The only ones who come to mind is Erwan H and his brother-in-law, Niko, who on occasion include their charming daughters in their vlogs.
For a different angle, tone and feel, if Nhel approves and Lily enjoys, why shouldn't Anselm/KD document his first-born's cute stage and their parental styles?? 👨👩👧
I would definitely enjoy it. Besides, there are several very successful channels devoted to smart, cute and happy children. Examples: The Pior family (Canada), The Chamily (California), Grey and Mama (Seattle?). 👧

That freaked me out when I realized the sides of the bridge were open with nothing to keep people from falling off. That would give me so much anxiety - even without a toddler to look out for.

Loved all the spectacular drone views in this video, and Bayog Falls was absolutely awe inspiring! There are so many incredible waterfalls in the Philippines, but that one stands out from the others.
Yeah! Seeing everything through fresh eyes again is the most important approach for life, I find, otherwise even the most exciting things can get stale.
I definitely want to hike to the bottom of that falls next time!

Thanks for featuring Mangima Canyon in Manolo Fortich. My husband grew up in Manolo and has gone hiking and swimming in that river. The falls in Talakag too are beautiful.

This is the first time I’ve watch your vlog and thank you for bringing us to see the scenic beauty of the mountain province of Bukidnon known for growing sweet pineapple (Del Monte products), corn, vegetable and banana plantation (?). It has a fascinating views of the waterfalls and zigzag roads.

It hasn't rained in Bukidnon for over a month now. It's cogon brushfire season, hence the burn marks on the mountains. But it does give the mountains more vivid colors.
