REVIEW: PENN Fathom II Lever Drag Reel | Worth Buying? 40N HS CONVENTIONAL REEL

Is the NEW Penn Fathom 2 Reel worth it? Is the Fathom the best conventional reel for your Saltwater fishing needs? I've put this reel (Fathom ll 40N HS) through a lot of test and pressure to come to the conclusion I have of the reel today. How Smooth is the retrieve and drag on this Reel? When you put the reel in low gear while deep dropping. Does it feel heavy to crank even if u dont have a fish ?

Low gear, is the same as high gear. The difference is the retrieve rate. The weight you feel is the weight you're using.

@Capitano_Davide yesterday My first use of the 40n deep dropping 10oz lure. I noticed its quite heavy on high gear without any fish. I reel on strike tho and i adjusted the drag to 10lb. Does it matter or i need to return it ?
