This edit is so special for me, because I've loved this song since the beginning. Polin is nothing without Eloise, and I had to add her to the mix.
I don't want this edit to come off as Penelope being flawless and Eloise and Colin being mean to her. We all make mistakes, and with mistakes comes progress.
I'm hoping that season three will bring us a final reconciliation between the two couples. The real love triangle of season three, guys. 😍

This song is perfect. Penelope needed to lose Colin and Eloise in order to love herself and find confidence. And now that she has, she can love Colin without putting him on a pedestal, and Colin can love her because she loves herself and has completely grown into herself and LW.
And the distance from Penelope can help Eloise too. She needs time and space from her to grow up and recover from the heartbreak Pen caused her. And I hope Cressida will help El realize how good she has it with Pen, and they can make up.

She had to lose her most important relationship in order to figure out who she was besides “Eloise’s friend.” Sometimes when you hit that rock bottom you there for awhile then it’s like “enough of this, I’m done” and you learn how to as you said love yourself. And be okay and content with who we are and embrace who we are outside of our relationships.
this edit made me feel so sad about penelope and eloise friendship but at the same time hopeful for them thanks to penelope and colin love, it's heartbreaking yet comforting
I hope that they will rekindle but also I don't want them to get together right away ❤ I want some drama and because of her relationship with Cressida we will get it.

FINALLY! The first Polin fan vid that uses the "No one takes me seriously" bit from Colin. Everyone uses the "no one really notices me" bit from Pen, but I had yet to see the obvious parallel the show gives for Colin's side. It's so easy to focus on Pen's unrequited love of Colin that many dont address his issues and insecurities. I know it's addressed more in their book, but I also hope they will show that in S3. I went back to rewatch their scenes, together and separately, and there actually is a lot there that makes this pairing make sense.
I also really appreciate that Eloise is mixed into this video. Their friendship is not affected in the books the way it is in the show so Colin is not the only Bridgerton I'm hoping works things out with Penelope because otherwise it will he so awkward when she officially becomes a part of the family.
Also, I've checked out and enjoyed some of your other videos on the topic. Compared to other fan vid, I'm really impressed with how spot on your videos are in terms of choice of music and editing of scenes. It's a real skill and talent knowing what and how to put certain elements together. You really have an eye for it. And I'm saying this as someone who has a little experience with audio/video editing myself. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to longer versions after the full season is released.

But that is growth on his side. ❤ It is the same thing in this friendship with Penelope and Eloise. She shaped Penelope so much, she was her only friend and to see how they will grow apart and also I hope they will rekindle eventually... I can't wait for s3 to see that. ❤
Since I ranted about every topic of season 3, I will add one more.
I need to see more of Penelope’s friendship with madame delacroix. They had nice and meaningful conversations with each other and I think delacroix helped Penelope get out of her shell a bit. If Penelope’s gowns are delacroix’s designs, than girl, you deserve more credit from the ton.

Pen looks nervous til she sees Eloise and Colin. And Eloise is SO NERVOUS for her while Colin has a damn Mona Lisa smile on his face. And then Pen smiles, she's reassured by seeing the two people she loves most. I love how this season these relationships are going to be on the front burner. Pen's relationships with Colin and El are my favorites of the show because they aren't perfect but I feel their love for one another regardless of the imperfections.
I love that scene ❤ First look of Pen and Colin and also the second look for Pen and Eloise. Just in her vulnerable moment they are there for her ❤

Sometimes you never really know what you have until you lose it and find yourself. ❤ Phenomenal betrayal of the relationship between this trio. You're right Penelope and Colin isnt complete without Eloise. They all are the best of friends from the beginning.

OMG THE PARALLELS!!😭💚✨I’m screaming!! When the songs says you replaced us & then it transitions to Eloise & Cressida!! I screamed! I felt that!! The jealousy of Pen to Colin & Colin to Pen omg!! It is so heartbreaking. ❤ I started to do this edit with just Penelope and Colin, but when I realized the line "In two months, you replaced us" would be perfect for Eloise and Penelope... I was hooked. And from that moment I was comparing these three and it came so much better. Also I love the lyric "This dancing was killing me softly" and then just see Polin looking at each other when one is dancing with someone else. ❤

We don't have the full season yet ,so all the romantic edits are wishful for right now for a great extent,but the anger,frustration, betrayal ,we've already felt that deeply b/w pen and colin and eloise and pen too.
Other then the fact,that the video is really really great and it hits just right with this song or even a lil bit more😅 .I really loved that this one also included eloise because ,pen and eloise arc has always been parallel to each other ,even in the new photos u can see that eloise is wearing a dress with some feathers/flowers on them , basically a bit featherington and pen is obviously wearing blues and greens because of the bridgerton influences ,other than the costume brilliance,it also shows how they subconsciously imbued these things when they were no longer together but still a part.
I really want to see el and pen story too because they actually really cared for each other,also colin's individual journey ,kinda get him on the lack of purpose because of all the luxury that comes with being the third son but also the secret anxiety of not being able to find out what u want to do with it and being a failure ,to let everyone down
