I think they should have played it out that Ro shared her suspicions with Malachi and allowed him to peep out Wayne's weird behavior at the wedding and witness Mike having to stop Wayne from stopping the wedding. So Ro and Malachi could have a deeper conversation about her true thoughts about marriage. If they are going to be a couple.
