i love this band so much, it’s so underrated
if you like this you might like my brothers music. his name is Stu Morris
45yrs old...this song is now 20yrs old.
I was wondering same 20yrs ago..
Now look at state of music?
Complete S H I T
1988-1996. RIP Rock n Roll
Same age. When they’re calling Tay tay “devils music”, something went seriously wrong.
I'm from JAPAN
I've seen their live in Tokyo.
It was so exciting and amazing!!
Talented, raw and unassuming... One of the best f*cking bands to come out of the US.
So underated.... love the vid here too. Great Art that matches the music.
Bang on. Fantastic rock music. So many great songs and Albums, these guys
its interesting how the US produces singular acts as opposed to bands, like the UK does
@@tzazella751 Um no, some of the greatest bands in history are American. Rock music is American music.
F it..!
Want this played at my funeral.
Born 1977
Summer 2024.
This song still fucking rocks.
One of the best and most blisteringly hectic punk rock songs ever, I dont care who your mother is.
@@LemmyLawless Look at the title of the song and give your head a shake clueless
No. That would be land speed record. This is fine and all but nothing to write home about.
im old school, Zeppelin, Stones, etc. Gotta tell ya, these guys rock!!!
Non si finisce mai di conoscere musica...mi eravate sfuggiti😎🔥🤘
This is one of the greatest rock and roll songs of all time. Glastonbury 2002 other stage was immense

Nobody can understand how much I Love this Band. 🖤
I think I might. They play the music my soul would write if it was capable of such a thing. Yo tambien 💜
@@investigatemermaids2693 Their music is special for me. It's good to know that for other people it's also like that.
playing the riff is fun too.. GOOD SONG MANN
God, I forgot how much I loved this record.
This is pure energy.

Been’s raw bass filled with melodic distortion always pulls me in. There is nothing else like it in music and puts bass front and centre to all music they do. I love it.
Smartly observed. The pop culture referencing vid is elite too. What a band!
I would put Rob Been up there with Les Claypool as one of the most creative bassists in Rock
Man, I've been a fan since Howl. Then I heard their first two albums, the rest is history. I was always a rock n roll guy but BRMC made it my religion. Wrong Creatures might be my favorite album.
This, In like the rose, Martyr & Vision 💯💯💯
One of the best, most consistent bands of the last 20 years. And, yet never hear them on the radio...
Fu*k Radio. I gave up on the radio/record company bullshit 20 years ago. Complete crap.
They're on heaps of tv and movie soundtracks though probably because they're so emotive and atmospheric like. I'm torn between wishing them more commercial success and loving how they remain uncommodified, if that's a word 😊
@@anitarasmussen2810 Community radio is the only radio worth listening to.
Radio? What's that? Oh, I know. College stations. That's where I found this. Wfit
Saw em a couple of times in small venues and they were feckin ELECTRIC!!! proper rock n roll! 🤘
Same. I wish them more commercial success but I gotta say the smaller venues suit their vibe. Every gig of theirs I've seen rocked my soul.
I just discovered this band today and they're fucking amazing
you're so lucky to get to discover BRMC for the first time, wish I could get to feel that sensation again
Personaly ,i have been listening to them for almost 20 years now with as much pleasure as ever !
Ahhh, the old days with Nick. I remember those days.
The most underrated bands of all time, these guys should be the Rolling Stones of our generation.

BRMC loudly playing in 2020
This was the song that gave me hope for rock music when I was past the age of 27.
Take friends unaware of this song on a smoke ride. Especially a bouncy road. Blast this and get a buzz. You'll change their life. Turned a hip hopper to question their ideas of rock n roll.
Ah, if only I could get my mom to listen to rock without causing my ear drums to LITERALLY burst... You're lucky
one of he great bands and one of he great songs

This song and video is exceptional. The framing, editing. Everything. I was working on a photoshoot with Marg Helgenberger and she had on really good music. Who is this Her and her husband were like Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. They did a five day did stint at the Silver Lake Lounge. Fan ever since. Rifles, Stop, Red Eyes and Tears.
Never get tired of this song!
That Bass though... 😍
One of the best live bands ever

Taking me back students day...the last days of genuine guitar driven music. Glad I lived it.
Love This! Thanks to "Faster" for bringing me here. I'm an old head skater from back in the day (halfpipes pools), so this hits home. It's amazing all the awesome underground music I know, then I find more stuff like this. My go to is Bad Brains, Black Flag, JFA, Agent Orange, etc. As long as the art of alt/punk is never lost, we will all live on in spirit.
Thank you for keep the attitude alive. Thank you BRMC
BRMC and EODM two highly overlooked bands keeping R&R alive in the new millenium.
Quality ..
Fuck i remember this when they played the Glasgow Barrowlands. The whole crowd went fucking mental including myself! Brilliant memories!
Sooooo gooooood !!!!!!
😃 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

They really did produce some great rock tracks
Brmc, charlatans and oasis at Finsbury Park. Might have been the best gig ever.
I quite liked it anyway.
the last defenders of rock and roll
The only real rock band to come out in the past decade. These guys rock :)
The 'past decade'? I think you need to do a bit of research my friend.
I love BRMC.This is such an intense song.
Monster track.
Unbelievably I've just started listening to these. Being an old(ish) rocker they seemed to have passed me by! 🤣. To new ears they sound immense. Spirit of 76 brought up to date!! Playing catch up now!
Check out their last album "Wrong Creatures" you will dig it for sure!
Where ya at my friend? I know, and its cool, I've introduced them to quite a few people who said the same, "how the hell did I MISS these guys?" Its b/c most major radio markets did not know how or where to market them. "Fuzzy acid garage rock with a side of folk-blues" is how one reviewed put them ("Howl" best example of the folksy-bluesy side). Thank God for the Underground Garage, that's where I heard them first.
Keep going brother. Its just...IMO, BRMC is STILL one of those bands wherein you can put on an album and just do ... long play. And its ALL good. I love them all, but I have a special place for "Baby 81", its just a friggin masterpiece. (FYI: I am an oldish rocker myself, played in bands for 20+ years, and so much has changed, not necessarily for the better).
Peace! :)
@@violetlefey7634 Hello! My name is Brigitte Le Fey. Can I ask, is that your real surname or a chosen one? Baby 81 is in my top 5 btw 😊
I always liked the cinematography of this video, also when i was a teenager my favorite band was BRMC. Still one of my fav.
The cinematography is just brilliant. I actually watch it as filmmaker to take note on the use of B&W lighting. Film black and white... maybe 16mm Tri-X... raw, edgy and artistic. Rock'n'roll !
An anthem for the post 2000's.....a music industry crippled by the internet...a culture crippled by 'reality' TV......but somewhere underneath it all, the pulse of real alternative art is still beating....barely
barely is about right...................... show a lil anger n energy for fuck sake
Walking sapiens with bent necks and glazed eyes, transfixed by smartphones and social media.
Focus, I'm goofy footed 😎♥️🇦🇺
Good for you man, goofy foots the way forward. Speaking of the way forward 😎❤️
Never tire listening to this absolute tune I feel in love with the sweet sensation

Sorry folks...but this video is just bad ass!!!
So hot..so black...so rebel....❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥
It's all about my rock n roll....💣💥🎸🎸🎸
Awesome song!!!
Rock n roll at its best 🙌🤘😎🎶🎸
This is from 2001, kids... not 2016.
To get the full enjoyment of this stereophonic recording, it should be played at high volume.
Pure gold
Saw these guys open for the Dandy Warhols in the StL. Kick ass small venie and these guys owned the fxxxxxn place.
Mi banda favorita!!!!!
PUTA MADRE!!! This is energy!!!
Save them last week for the 4th time but the first in over a decade & this track (which ended the gig) is still an absolute stormer. And appropriate given the state of guitar rock - at least in the eyes of the media.
Badass song!

Amazing as always, never fails to impress
1...2...3...Wooh!
You want a part of me
You want the whole thing
You want to feel something more than I could ever bring
You want it badly
You want it tangled
I want to feel something more than I was strangled
I fell in love with the sweet sensation
I gave my heart to a simple chord
I gave my soul to a new religion
Whatever happened to you?
Whatever happened to our rock'n'roll?
Whatever happened to my rock'n'roll?
She wants it hallow
She wants it tainted
She wants to feel something more than she was naked
You want to hide away
You're scared to touch it
I want to feel something more than I care to take
I fell in love with the sweet sensation
I gave my heart to a simple chord
I gave my soul to a new religion
Whatever happened to you?
Whatever happened to our rock'n'roll?
Whatever happened to my rock'n'roll?
You know you never decide.
Why you can't trust their lies.
It's so much pain you can't describe.
There's got to be another reason for living.
She wants your image
She wants your kiss
She wants to get inside your head and tell it like it is
You want it badly
You want it so completele
I want to feel something more 'cause I can't f***in' breathe
I fell in love with the sweet sensation
I gave my heart to a simple chord
I gave my soul to a new religion
Whatever happened to you?
Whatever happened to our rock'n'roll?
Whatever happened to my rock'n'roll?
Awesome. 🤟.
