  • Ivan from Wild Latitudes met up with Noah Strycker, author of the recently-published book, Birding Without Borders.
The book recounts Noah's amazing adventure across the globe in 2015, on his quest to see 5,000 different bird species. That's roughly half of all the known species in the world.
In pursing his goal, Noah broke the world record for the most bird species seen in a single year. More importantly, he connected with bird-lovers around the world and shared his passion for birds and nature with thousands of people who followed his adventure in real time, via Noah's blog and social media feeds.
Noah is a talented writer and a wonderful advocate for birding and nature travel. And he's a nice guy :)
We highly recommend his book, Birding Without Borders.

I had a yellow bellied sapsucker at my suet feeder one time here in Massachusetts. The carbon footprint of seeing that was nearly zero.
