- Former WWF Star Jesse Ventura gave a panel at Steel City Con March 2023 to talk about his wrestling career, acting, politics, and to answer fan questions.
Jesse “The Body” Ventura was a professional wrestler with the AWA and WWF. He also was a commentator for the WWF and had his own show called “The Body Shop.” He also starred as an actor in Predator, The Running Man, Thunderground, Demolition Man, Batman & Robin, and more. He also was the mayor of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota from 1991 to 1995, and later became Governor of Minnesota, serving from 1999 to 2003. He remains politically active.

Ventura relies upon and uses his intimidating persona with great effectiveness. My question is "Y" is he not stepping up to the plate in defense of the American people? He talks about seeking taking that next "Y" in the road when it presents itself? Would relish the day Trump debate's ventura on a national stage debate! Trump would destroy ventura piecemeal taking him apart on every aspect of what it takes to confront the corruption,demonic evil that permeates our current government. Ventura's cheap shots at our next president Trump for the 3rd time are just that cheap intimidating vs affronts to the American Patriots. Trump 2024🇺🇸🦅⚖️🙏

Jesse and Gorilla Monsoon were great on the mic. Jesse would call Tito Santa “Chico” and Gorilla would correct Jesse “it’s Tito”and Jesse would say “that’s what I said, Chico!”

He’s genuine to a point…when it comes to running for president, he doesn’t want to do it….”if a party wants to just nominate me without a primary and put me in the debates” - if that’s how he truly thinks things work, then he has no business running.

What Ventura is actually doing is bluffing and playing chicken…he doesn’t want to be president and knows he could never become president, so he makes everyone else responsible by saying he’d do it if all these impossibilities occur first. That’s doesn’t mean I approve of how primaries are run, but if a former president has to campaign for a nomination, then so should Ventura.
He still has that impeccable voice. WWE really should have him do voice overs.
They probably don't want to pay what he would ask for, and deserve. But I agree, for years he could have been doing voice overs with that incredible voice.

You can think what you will. If you think for yourself and you learn to question and investigate things for yourself, it becomes clear we Americans have been fed a line of BS by the so called leaders of this country for most of our lives. Ventura has a tendency to get under the skin of many people in power because he exposes them. So many people hate the truth these days.

He is absolutely correct on the characters today. They are being molded by the companies and no input by themselves. No wonder they are so generic.
It was unprecedented back in the day. The whole WWF roster were all guys picked from territories they were the tops in and all put together in one company. The only other time in history a roster had been that stacked is a prime WCW in the late 90s.

He's correct about his show conspiracy theories. They've done wiped that show from existence.. I remember back in 2012, i was able to watch all of them on youtuber.. Now, you can't find them.

Tennessee Representative Steven Cohen got the show yanked after Jesse stuck his bill HR 645(111) in his face & demanded answers to why there are I/R camps in full operation! Ventura just grilled the staff! Cohen claimed the information he was uncovering, that Cohen denied, was too much for U.S. people to know about. This was 2007! That’s why I didn’t fall for anything the last several years. Jesse warned me.

Real truth? Jesse destroyed his credibility with his 9/11 conspiracies. Sort of like Alex Jones killed his with Sandy Hook. I can understand some of his conspiracies back in the early 2000s......but it's 2023, and he's still spewing his nonsense

Steve Austin would mis-pronounce Vince McMahon’s home town calling it Greenwitch Connecticut it’s pronounced GREN-itch. It was funny because Steve Austin apparently never visited Vince McMahon at his home in Greenwich ever.

My favorite great old guy! I think he'd be a bit like the lighter side of Lincoln, if he were prez. Just tall, tough and making a lot of good common sense in some very reasonable story-telling. Not to mention reaching around 80-90 % of the people, in the best of ways.
Jesse Ventura is a legend just off of HONESTY alone. That’s the one career that he will always have for as long as he lives, and when he dies someone should invent a hall of fame for honesty because he’ll be the first one inducted!
