The million is effectively impossible to win. You have to win the round you get it (without getting bankrupt), win the overall game, then get the million as one of the options AGAIN on the mini-wheel at the end, then win the end game puzzle.
Yup, someone calculated it to roughly 1 out of every 2700 games.
In Wheel of Fortune, concepts go into the category of “Thing”
In Wheel of Fortune ANYTHING goes into the category of "Thing". Because anything IS a thing, technically. What is NOT a thing, anyway? Magic? Unicorns? God? That would make America's game interesting, at least.

Boiks I love you all so here are some tips to help you out:
You only win the money you've accumulated on your scoreboard during that puzzle, not anyone else's. So solving the puzzle when you have no money on your board is basically useless (I think you win a minimum of $1,000 or so). If you do not win the round, you do not win the money you've accumulated throughout the round. Nobody gets it. A bankrupt only applies to the person who spun the wheel and landed on it, and it only bankrupts the money they've accumulated that round. All money won is secured after each round. and cannot be bankrupted during a different puzzle.
When people suddenly win a ton of money from a puzzle, it's because it's the prize puzzle and they win the value of the trip - so Smith won the value of the trip to Greece plus what was on his board from that round. It's like the most important round to win.
In order to win the million, you have to land on it, get a letter to secure it, win that puzzle, go to the bonus round, land on a million there, and solve the bonus puzzle. It's only happened like twice ever.
Also, I need a running counter of how many times Trott says "I know what it is," the next letter pops up, and he says "wait..."

Getting the million seems a bit unfair for a game, I can understand real life Wheel of Fortune, but there's no point it being there if the chance of getting it is so slim
Also, I didn't know how the trips worked, I thought they were just for show since it's a video game, hence you couldn't actually do anything with them
@@georgehh2574 Yeah I guess it's just for authenticity that the million is there. And the trips add the amount to the person's score as well so they actually do serve a purpose in the video game version.
Additionally, if you buzz in on a toss up and pass or get it wrong, you cannot buzz in again. Hence, the risk of buzzing in too early and the reason you say it won't let you buzz in.

Having the will to do something, willpower. Staying power implies being mentally strong enough to stay stationary.
I swear, whoever developed the American language really wanted to trigger the British. It doesn't makes sense to me why the English language had to be modified the way it is, although one of my theories is the American accent makes it more difficult/awkward to say certain words, so they naturally got changed/modified

I don’t really get why staying power is dumbing down anything. The English have a million words and phrases for the same concepts, and we add our own. I don’t see much we’ve done differently. Sorry our ‘American stupidity’ is so frustrating to you I guess.

The way the million works is you have to land on it, get it, win that puzzle, win the game, on the final puzzle (the one with the rstlne) you have to spin and land on the million and get that correct.
I loved this! Your tactics and friendly frustration against each other , as well as your expressions during the game just made this so good.

This is one of the few games where Achievement Hunters still make the best videos of. Have to keep spinning until all consonants are filled in and you always have to flip the mystery edge.

Another fun fact: the live gameshow is very much fixed every time you spin the main wheel. They decide where you land on the spot based on a number of factora like the amount of money they're willing to give out, your attitude, and yes unfortunately personal biases. They can't solve the puzzle for you, but they'll do anything but. The bonus spin at the end however is totally legit. Your hand decides where you land
When you get the millions and the person who won it makes it to the bonus round they add it to the spin so you could try to win it. And the letters and symbols don’t matter on that smaller wheel.
I mean I knew it was outfit at the end and I still didn't feel even remotely frustrated that they didn't get it. Not sure how people can get so easily annoyed.
The final wheel spin where Pat Sajack takes the envelope is just random prizes. None of the symbols or letters mean anything. When I used to watch this show as a kid about 20 years ago, they only had RSTLNE for the envelopes and champions could return until they lost, eventually claiming all of those letters. I miss those days.
They have changed the game a ton of times,tons of random things added or subtracted throughout the decades it has been on.

Hey trott the reason people live on those massive cliffs in Greece is because they are monasteries. A long time a go people would go up to the monasteries to escape invaders.
If you get a wildcard, it's best to keep it until the bonus round. It grants you the ability to pick an extra consonant. Also if Ross won a million dollar envelope would have been added to the prize wheel.

You have to get the million, not bankrupt for the rest of the game, win the game, land on the million in the bonus round, and win the bonus round to get the milly. I think 2 or 3 people have done it

Too lazy to go back and check, but is it just me or has it been $34k in the bonus round every time?
The minimum prize is always (well, for the past several years or so) the amount of seasons the show has been running x10K. So this game was obviously made when the show was in it's 34th season in America and it is the most common envelope on the prize wheel. Currently it's 36K for the minimum, although the cars they give out are generally less money.
No they got $100,000 once, that might have been on the live stream.

Ross landed on the 1 million space.. all that means is, IF Ross makes it to the final round, there will be a million dollar card on that final table, and you still have to spin it and land on it to win it.. its almost impossible to hit. To make it to the final round you have to have earned the most cash out of the 3 of you...

Thing usually refers to physical objects. They don't think of abstract concepts as a thing.
