These videos are becoming addictive, every night I'm looking forward TO MY WALK AROUND New York. Thanks kid.
your right actionkid does a wonderful job recording & narrating BUT it would have been better if high Definition & UHD recording devices were out back in the 80's & 90's like today, NewYork city had 100 times more energy & it was more ICONIC back then....if you ever had the pleasure to visit NewYork cities 5 boroughs in the 80's & 90's then you know exactly what I'm talking about....it was alot more dirtier & far far more dangerous than today but it would make for some AWESOME video.....most of these walks from actionkid doesn't remind me at all of the NYC I remember back in 1987 till 1995....more laid back & more calm nowadays & not as much energy as back in the day.
@@frank-xp6pj It would even be better if the videos were from the late 1800s! Buuuuuuut, they're not. So, yeah, whatever. Great job ActionKid!
I know many other people said it before me, and i know you don t do it with this purpose in mind, but i think the city of New York should recognize your efforts to spread the knowledge of this beautiful city in some manner ;)
Keep it up, AK. Especially the narrated ones , although i know some stuff , 90 % of what you re describing is new to me .
Cheers.
interesting walking down Union square. When I lived in NY 60 years ago the famous store, pre-discount era, was S. Kleins on the Square. a store where the bargain hunters were waiting at the front door for the place to open. They'd rush in and scoop up the advertised items they wanted. In one minute the rack or table was empty. But if you waited a few minutes a lot of them would change their minds and back they were so you could pick up what you were looking for. Today every store pretends to be a discount store. But S. Kleins was the greatest. Thanks for the Memories.
I used to take the Hudson line everyday to work. One of the best times at Grand Central Terminal is that "quite time" early morning 5:30 am. So peaceful so beautiful the ceiling and ornaments of this terminal. Thank you for your channel 👍🏿
That building is pure art
Another great video as always, love your sense of humor, can't wait for the next narrated video.
Once again, a great video!
“Action on the floor”🤣 You just made my day! Lol Awesome video....again.

Very busy terminal though Good video walk,.Thax
I watch your videos almost every day. It makes me feel like i'm back in NYC.
I like your narration. And I like when you mention the history of a place.
Enjoyed this action video and narration.
Nice video AK. I am getting so that I am a fan of your narrated videos now, just because you're so knowledgeable. But all your videos are great, narrated, non-narrated or cycling! Congrats on the 70K subs!
The most beautiful station in the world - just amazing, look forward to a narrated tour one day. So looking forward to the Autumn (Fall) videos of New York. Awesome with the trees and that low hazy sunshine. The best season of the year!
too bad the original Penn Station was demolished in 1965, otherwise, that building would have been # 1...see for yourself...just google "original Penn Station".. AMAZING.
@@nasdaqua wow
@@fidgetspinner343 wow, wow and wow.. as it was written "One entered the city like a god; one scuttles in now like a rat".

I just love your videos.
Nice video as always. Keep it goin!
Love this walk. So quintessentially NY (at least to someone who doesn't live there). Great tour and great narration. Love catching these as they come out. Well done. -Henry
Hello from Florida, raining here all day, but still managed to virtually walk through streets of NY on my treadmill watching your awesome videos. Keep it up AK! Love, love all of your videos.

You’re welcome!
Hello ActionKid I enjoy your videos every day, I can already see myself walking in nyc.
I hope that I can also go to NYC next year, but it is hard to save for a 10 day holiday. I make notes where you have been then I can find it easier, I only go to NYC I have never been on vacation this is the first time so for me that is all very new. But I hope to see many videos of you and enjoy them.
Kind regards from Jan from the Netherlands
Thank you very much for another fabulous video, really, which one is not? They are all magnificent ¡¡¡ thanks above all for lift the camera a little and focus to the most emblematic tall buildings and thus being able to see them in all their splendor, such as the empire state building , and for your explanations. thank you very much, happy weekend
Love Grand Central Station...I would go through there too and from work. Great place to pick up dinner in the way home, or meet friends for dinner or a drink! Great shops! Miss Grand Central at Christmas time with their holiday Mart and laser light show in the main lobby (I'm not sure they do that anymore)! Unexpected events...I saw even Paul McCartney had a surprise concert awhile ago. It's always bustling and a fun place to be. I don't live in NY anymore but seeing Grand Central brings back such good memories! Thank you!
Been there few weeks ago, great !
Today is friday !!! ... happy weekend everyone !! ... very nice video💝💝
You have good sense of humor
Thank you, this is the most "action" I ever get! 😉
Well done 👍👍
The best thanks buddy
thank you !
i can't wait for seeing videos of fall colors all over new york city, mainly in central park !!!
greetings from Brazil xD
You can watch my other videos for fall of 2018 😃 Here’s my Central Park video of the Fall: Autumn: czcams.com/video/H98yxzcnjxE/video.html
Thank you
Can't wait for your Las Vegas tour! If ever u do..
Cipriani’s on the balcony was a delightful spot for a meal.
well done , although i haven't watched the entire video but i guess it is beautiful as the previous .
I always liked "landing" in CTC from my trips from Westchester to NYC (and back). My very first memories of GTC go back to the early 60's when my mother used to take us down to Rock Center for the (Disney) Christmas pagents. Never walked that far south from GTC though. Later on used to get the #6 train from GTC to Astor place to visit my buds in the East Villiage.
Nice video..The 1522 on the left side of clock is in military time...3:22pm , in the middle are seconds and milliseconds, to the right , 0838 means the number of hours and minutes until midnight ( 8 hrs and 38 min) . The numbers keep changing as time passes, obviously. The building which connects Met Life with the bridge is also part of Met Life. The New York Life building was formerly at the site of the original Madison Square Garden , thus, Madison Sq Park is named after it. I would just add that Park Ave South is specifically referred to as such. Park Avenue begins at 32nd St and 2 Park Ave is located there. Park Ave South numbers ascend until they approach 32nd St. Thanks for the video and keep up the great work.
Interesting what you said about the Park Avenue and how it actually got the name. I'm learning something here and I appreciate that :)
Naw you got it wrong-they named it "Park Avenue" after Milton-Bradley asked them so their Monopoly game would match up to NYC! LOL!
Haha!
Another great video Congratulations from Spain. Will you record more videos out of New York? In Mexico again?
Thank you 😃 I’m not too sure when I’ll do it.
Very interesting..
HEY PIGEON!!!
DO NOT MESS WITH ACTIONKID!!
EVER HEARD OF SQUAB?
🐦🍽️🤤
thanks
Do a complete walking tour inside NewYorks port authority bus station.
I want to go here🤗🤗 thank you❤❤❤
Please come! Few people visit New York City and hate it. Even if it you hate it, awesome LOL
Metronome clock at Union Sq: Take the 6 digits from left are 152145 which are the actual time of that day 15hrs 21min 45sec then take the 6 digits from right by pair of 2 which are 08 38 14...this is the time left in that day (8 hrs 38 min 14 sec...). If you add up these 2 row of digits (152145 + 083814) it equal 235959 or 23hrs 59 min 59 sec...the end of the day.
Wow!!!!!
I think I saw you doing this that day ay east 34th st around 1pm-2pm ish
😄
Buongiorno Action kid. I'm a native born Bronx New Yorker but living way out in the S.W. region in N.M. I have to admit its been years since my last visit to the city. I have a question of a refresher. ? Could you please remind as to the physical differences between streets and Avenues there? Plus despite what my friends here think that im a bit off my rocker? I would love to move back when i retire to either N.Y.C. in the Bronx? Or up to Boston where i lived back in the early 80's and it reminded me of New York as in my view the two city's have many similarities to them. Anyway in close i appreciate your videos as you share several area's in the city there. Anyway again Grazie mille, thank you again. Have a good day sir. Ciao.
Did you realize you were walking over a new tunnel down to about 38th? The tail tracks for LIRR East Side Access.
Action on the floor instead of Action Kid. I am dying. 😂😂😂👍
👍👍 can you do a walk in bedstuy before the weather changes
I can try!
Loved the video. Would really like to know what the numerals on the building at the end of the video meant.
I’m not really sure
Wow...
When you were reading that clock at the end, it was flickering in the video...it has to do with you Frames per second (FPS) and Shutter Speed..To get rid of that flicker adjust your Shutter Speed...(double your FPS)...this should hopefully fix it.
Hi great videos! I only discovered your channel this morning at 3am lol 🤗.
Do you have any vidoes with Liberty Avenue. I'm from Trinidad (Caribbean) and I believe there are a lot of Trinidadians living there.
Thanks! I don’t believe I did Liberty Avenue yet.
Once again pass close to my apartment lol 😂 I swear I think it’s personal now haha
30:12 anybody notice that strange black "curtain" on the back of the car? When parking, the culture in New York is to 'bump' the car and then back up. What you are seeing is a retractable protective shield to fight marring the painted bumper.
1 - You should have shown the black tile on the Grand Central ceiling hall.
2 - Norman Thomas school building, 33rd St, is one of my prefered building in NYC. B [France]
You saw it! That is not a tile but a single black square of grime left by the woman who cleaned and restored the ceiling. Her first name was Marina and I have forgotten her last name.
She was an acrobat with the Moscow Circus. Chosen as a young child for her tiny size she grew up in a semi bondage of training and performing.and toured the United States in 1978. She fled in New York, helped by other refugees, and learned how to clean and restore paintings.
I met her when I brought my Hudson Valley painting (damaged and torn in the loss of my house in Katrina) to her Garrison New York studios. She told me how she worked on a scaffold on her back removing the grime from train smoke, cigarettes of years. She also told me she had left a little square of dirt so people could see what had covered all the lovely art underneath. it
You must be late 20's or early 30's how do you know so much about this city? It's incredible, great vids
read, read and read.
Do you produce private videos (for a fee). You have touched on a number of areas that I used to live in when I lived in Queens. They wouldn't be long, but would specifically cover streets that I request.
Fun Fact! It's called Grand Central "Terminal" because it used to be the last stop (or beginning stop), and trains did not pass through it. Nowadays the subway passes below and through it.
20:21 The New York Life Building looks like a Art Deco building with some Plateresque or Flamboyant Gothic ornamentation.
❤️ NYC ❤️
Love from Pakistan❤❤❤
Please come and visit in NYC. We have wonderful Indian, Punjabi, and halal food for you. We have everything!
Really good places ❤💗
☺And where are you from😊
@@lifeofpakistan5849 born in Manhattan!
Do they still have bike messengers anymore in the city...havn't seen to many or any at all ?
Yes there are many!
actionkid bonjour j'aime toujours autant vos vidéo 🎦👟👟
Another good informative video. Careful, there is another blogger that is doing EXACTLY what you are doing from NYC.....(asian name)...I dont think he can copy your narrated videos your advice and knowledge is incredible. Ty
What is there for him to be worried or careful about? He has 70k subscribers. Nobody can copy this guys personality, passion or knowledge plus all the top search results and history he already has in CZcams. Just let things be, it is also good for CZcams viewers as there is more content with perhaps a different perspective and ideas. Plus everyone raises their game. Chill.
@@fidgetspinner343 i agree action kid is the best. but the other channel does not have a different perspective or idea...is basically an exact copy....just saying.
@@mikvas8088 Well he doesn't own the rights to "Walk around NYC streets and film" does he? If you are a success and the barrier entry is low, you are going to attract competition. This is business and happens everywhere. As long as he carries on doing what he is doing there is no problem. If ActionKid can earn more or less a living by walking the streets of New York, I couldn't think of a better way to earn a living. He is very lucky to do what he does and make money from it, long may it continue.
I wish I lived in Park Avenue !
Grand Central, One of the Most beautiful Train Stations in New York City.
If the original Penn Station building were still standing, that would have been # 1..but unfortunately it was torn down in 1965. Google original Penn Station and see for yourself how AWESOME it was.
Super👍😘✌🗽😎🗽🗽🗽🗽
You said that if that delivery guy on the bike had hit you, you would have been Action On The Floor. I guess from our point of view, we all would have been "Out of Action".
33:12 saltbae was a meme of a guy sprinkling salt over some meat that went viral, i guess he's opening a restaurant in new york
17:20 Pennsylvania is also a state that does not require a front license plate.
When a pigeon poops on your shoulder, it's considered good luck 😊
The narrated videos are the best! Learn more than when I had a tour guide taking me around haha. You should check out Coil web monetization. Stick it on here, every little helps!
👍
I think all the construction and renovations in the Grand Central Terminal has to do with the aftermath of the Avengers fight against the chitauri. ;)
When I was 12 years old I ran away from home and took a bus to New York City. Saw police beat a man with their night sticks , billy clubs. , and that scared me . I turned myself in and police contacted my parents to come get me . I never ran away again. 🇺🇸
720?
It's showing up in 4K for me.
