I've had nothing but problems with the Streamer X when it comes to video. Among other things changes fps, cannot deliver 4k in Quicktime on M1 Mac Mini, buggy Unify software. Have to restart constantly, settings disappear. Had no problems with the Elgato Cam Link 4K. Røde support has not been of much help, promises and promises but nothing happens. Have lots of Røde products, but this is an alpha product that was sent to the market way too early.
Thanks for the video - definitely a product I'm interested in. I've got the goxlr mini that's no longer supported that I'm looking to replace. Looks like a good fit for the job, plus a more solid capture card as opposed to my elgatoHD60.
I replaced the stock cable with a tb4 and it fixed my issue. IMO it works best with windows. I tried dual pc with a Mac and I had constant issue. But this I would use no problem with dual pc setup. Just is just from me and others may experience different. Also, unify on Mac messed up my audio. On windows, i use wave link with my stream deck plus.
Did you experience any headphone hiss / white noise while using the Streamer X? I wanted to love the Streamer X based on how convenient it was with everything built-in (even a capture card, hell yeah!), but unfortunately the hissing in the headphones and the Rode software being really buggy made it hard for me to want to use it :(
Its a great sounding product but honestly is terrible in execution. Bought couple months back to replace my goxlr mini and had nothing but straight issues. Software was horrible, build quality was terrible for their price, cable kept losing signal with the slightest adjustments and all the features it came with felt cheap, even the censor sound. I just stuck to my goxlr due to how much better it just is. Maybe ill give it another shot later down the road but now it is just not it.
This make's me want to buy it lol ima look into it.

I did too, i also experienced a slight delay in mic monitoring which made it impossible to even adjust any of my mic settings let alone anything else
What are you guys using instead of the StrmrX?
I have the Rode Streaming Mic and it never let me talk in Discord and in gameplay chat at the same time. It also never saved my settings

Best thing about this is that it can capture console and mic on one device.
Have all the audio issues been addressed?
Does it work on Sony 5 without the PC?
The only gripe I see in any review is the damn software. If I want to use the streamer x with third party software is it possible?
