I find it very intriguing that the ASL sign for "Fox" is the same as "Drunk" in French Sign Language. Lol!
Sign language is so neat I have a lot of fun learning it on CZcams, I remember learning it in class & I communicated with a few deaf people, it was terrific.😄

I use asl with my friends because one of them is losing her hearing a little , we tried to learn isl as that’s what we would learn in our country if we had to use it but there aren’t many ways for us to learn and we found so many results for asl we decided to use it instead I’m glad we did because it’s been a great experience learning it together and using it together
Thank you! I don’t have anyone currently in my life that I’d have to communicate to with sign language, and even though I’m 12, I want to learn sign language because it can help me get into a job whenever I’m older, plus i May never know when I’d need it.

I’ve had (at two separate stores I’ve worked in) my minimal ASL come in handy to communicate w a customer and I could tell how happy it made them. Even if you don’t get a job BECAUSE of it (IIRC it’s not even on my resume) it can definitely come in handy at random times!

The only insect sign I know of is bug/insect. Is there a separate one for cockroach or is it just spelled out?

How would you sign chipmunk? I’ve seen it fingerspelled and I just want to make sure there isn’t a sign? I’ve seen (5 claw hands at cheeks), but I’m not sure if that is correct?
