Tivoli Marina Hotel Vilamoura, Portugal August 2011 balcony view

We had a great holiday last week staying at the Tivoli Marina hotel in Vilamoura which overlooks the pool, beach & Marina, we were on the 2nd floor (room 222) and had a really good view of the pool and beach from our room, I would recommend this hotel to anyone, not really the 5 star hotel that is advertised but it was very clean (and it was quiet at night as we had the beach view rather then the Marina view), the other side of the hotel is facing the Marina for all the bars resaurants & shops, it was mainly couples and family's staying here which suited us for a relaxing holiday, apart from a few screaming kids (little bastards).

When i went it was virtualy empty and in the 2nd week everyone was there and it was packed and very noisy but nothing can take away the brilliance of that hotel even if we did stay on the marina side

@bobthesalad Yeah the kids were a bit annoying all right, however we found that they stayed mainly over at the shallow end so we stayed over the other side of the huge pool away from them, mind you, you could still hear the little bastards ha ha.
