Lake Renegade water landing - Renton, Wa

Inbound to Renton from landing on a beach. I wanted to wash off the tires before i landed so i elected to land on the water instead of the runway and use the Will Rogers Wiley Post Memorial Seaplane Base.

Man the water looks glassy smooth that day. That little 360 cam can produce some really nice quality video.

That's very cool. Some amphibs were waiting in line to use the runway when the ramp was clear the other day. I was wondering why more don't use it.

When the pattern is packed, and the hold short line is 5 deep. I skip all them and use the ramp.

@@-Thrud- that seems like one of the advantages of being amphib, you've got options.
