Q, I am happy that you are using your platform to discuss the political climate. I am aware that most people don't listen to political commentary every day like I do, so it is nice that you are dedicating a section to discuss it. As a military person, it is important to understand that the Commander in Chief sets the tone for the military environment. Under 45, the racial tension was exacerbated, and that's the last thing that we need when we want to defend our country. We HAVE to be a cohesive team. Eliminating DEI programs in the military has really hurt in a lot of ways, and it has given a license to many to be overtly racist in ranks when that should NEVER be. But, the Commander in Chief sets the tone. Another term of 45 would eviscerate the military that is already in a very fragile state with the recruiting and retention crisis.

It happens a lot though in private industry. When big mishaps happen, the c-suite or other executives sometimes takes the blame and resigns when people do these actions. The department head has the ultimate responsibility for setting strategy. That’s why sometimes when you move up, your task based job duties decrease but your responsibility increases because of those under you. That was a major gaffe those agents made and they may end up being fired as well.
