I think when people say trucking isn’t the same. They mean OTR, local construction dump trucks hell yes there’s money
Yea it depends ive heard the end dump guys that been here longer than me say its not the same as before either but still good money
Just happened to come across your videos in the recommended videos that CZcams shows you. That’s awesome bro that you’re helping out your mom and brothers and sisters. That’s big dog sh!t right there. There’s a lot of money to be made in trucking. I started out doing gravel and stuff just like yourself and did that for 10 years and then decided to go over the road. I was making decent money driving local doing end dump work but once my dad told me how much he was making being an OTR driver, I jumped ship right away lol. From making $1200-$1500 a week to now making $2500-$3000 a week. There’s money to be made for sure. Just got to be willing to give up a lot and sacrifice to make that money
I appreciate that man 🙏🏽 and yessir sometimes we just gotta jump and get it done bro im glad its going well for you bro hopefully im up there soon man just out here tryna make sure my Family good 🙏🏽
@@MTEIsrael keep your license clean and try to avoid them tickets in your personal vehicle and stay with your company for a couple of years to get that experience under your belt and you will have it made in the shade bro. With your hustle and positive way at looking at things for sure you will be making the big bucks real soon. But the most important thing is that you’re being a good son and older sibling and showing them that it’s important to take care of family. You may not realize it but you’re actually being a dam good role model for your younger brothers and sisters. And I’m 100% sure your mom is very proud. Keep trucking big dog and I’ll subscribe to your channel.
@@bigzoo895 definitely bro will do and preciate that man it means alot 🤙🏽🙏🏽 stay safe out on the road bro and thanks for the support 💪🏽

I'm officially tuned into you family. What would you recommend I'm looking at Cascadia 500hp day cab tri axle or a 38" sleeper tri axle on a 36 foot 6 axle end dump? We can gross 132,000lbs here In NC with a permit one way.
I appreciate that alot man 🙏🏽 and id say go with the sleeper just in case you ever need it
Are you an owner op? and if so how did you get the contract for the work. Im 20 with 6 months experience and im trying to hop in this end dump stuff, im in houston and i see many trucks but just dont know where to start
Im just a driver for now bro soon ill be owner operator , theres companies with dispatchers out here that give out work for them
I’m trying to get in to end dumps but I got a restriction I’m in Dallas area
Take off the restriction first bro lots of trucks out here are manuals unless u go with big companies those might be automatics
Yeah I figured cause my pops was doing this before he retired tryna get it off tho
Sick !! How long was the School
To get my cdl? I got my permit before the new laws I only went to school for the driving portion and got it in about 2 months or a little less
I got mine in 3 weeks at roadmaster driving school inatlanta i had came with my permit already it only takes 21 days to get your CDL
How much experience would I need to become a end dump driver?
It depends , i was hired with no experience and was taught how to operate the pto system and driving manual transmission as well
Are you getting paid 1099 or w2
Nice thanks for the reply have a good week and I saw you yesterday on 35 by cabelas
@@restonweaver4919 thanks man you too and yea we where working over there in denton 🤙🏽
As a owner of trucks and doing this for over 47 years, it definitely isnt the same. When your on the business end footing all the expenses you find out on the bottom line how much it isnt the same. Appreciate you doing videos like this to hopefully get a young person to do the right thing and head down the right path in life like the way you get out and check the box to make sure no material is still stuck. Only advice is you may want to get out of the habit of driving off road with the box still in the air as its a potential roll over not to mention its hard on the pivot pins and guide plates as the body settles down on the frame i know people do this alot but thats the difference between a driver and a operator other than that great job all around.
@@josephcox4319 i appreciate the tips man definitely will get out of that habit of driving off with it still a bit in the air 🙏🏽
@@MTEIsrael Proud of you and keep doing what your doing you never know in life I may be working for you one day lol 🤣
@@josephcox4319 i appreciate it man 🙏🏽 and haha maybe
