In Omni-Mans defense when he said "it's part of the job" after the old lady passed it's just a true thing. Like being an EMT or Firefighter. You lose people and you just gotta develop a way to cope because wether you like it or not it will happen.

Yep. Friend of mine went to med school, finished and started his residency. Had to quit when he realized he simply couldn't cope with patients dying.

I like how that early segment hints on Nolan's feelings towards Mark too. Nolan might be unbreakable but being called Dad really broke him right in the feels.

I agree. I watched the reactions with my wife for a couple of the episodes, and she got super into these. Then she told me she wanted to watch the fan reactions for episode 8. So I had to find one done by someone else.
They all sucked... no offense to the other youtubers, but they were horrible. This dudes videos are just levels above the competition.

not really, omni man is basically invincible you don't want to piss off someone that powerful and Cecil is smart. That's why they were searching for a way to kill him before actually exposing him. But like I said, he's basically invincible, could've destroyed earth if he wanted to

Even though I could not get past the first episode when this damn thing originally streamed months ago, it is because of Johnny's fine work that I choose to watch it vicariously through the reactions of others. I might still consider watching it to the end on my own... thanks to Johnny.

It’s quite ironic really that reactions were all the range, and they still are, but now the next step is reaction compilations to truly take it to the next level. I guess both of them have their own highs.

I love watching these reactions as people are discovering the Invincible universe. Hopefully the series gets renewed for many many seasons, as the comic book was a hell of a ride. Most of the characters get incredible story arcs in the books and I can't wait until they reveal my favorite Invincible villain.

I’m sure Cecil suspects Omniman at this point @20:00. They just can’t do anything about it. Omniman is impervious to the strongest earth weaponry. If they were to come out and accuse him, there is no way to predict how Omniman would react.
How fitting that Omni-Man's genocide on the Flaxans was to the song "Tom Tom by Holy Fuck."

I didn't notice this until my second viewing of the series...Omni Man's Vitals look SUSPICIOUSLY normal for the beating he took. Now that we know (if you've seen the whole series...otherwise spoilers) that he's invincible, I would think his vitals would be a little higher or askew. Any thoughts on that??

When Omni-Man killed Red Rush, everyone was in slow motion except those to.
Because we saw what was taking place between them at their speed. Which means Omni-Man actually has the ability to move at the same speed as Red Rush. Since no other Guardian was capable of that as they all moved slow as fuck, this means Omni-Man could've literally blitzed them all after killing Red Rush, but he actively chose not to.
Omni Mans speed is futher proven to exceed the Guardians during his talk with Cecil. Despite Cecil having teleportation which is pretty much instant, Omni Man was, after a couple tries, fast enough to close the distance in time to grab his tie. This alone is an incredible feat.
@@CedricBassman Actually that fight proved the exact opposite, that Omniman COULDN'T move at the same speed as Red Rush by all the times where Red Rush deflected his punches and pushed his team mates out of the way from fatal blows.
The Slow motion was Red Rush's perspective only, and it probably wasn't actually as long as what he was actually experiencing in that short amount of time, to him he probably was dying for a full hour while uselessly punching Omnimans chest with broken fists millions of times.
The reason he got caught in the first place is because Omniman, while not being as fast as RR, was just fast enough to reflexively grab Red Rush to make his super speed worthless. Had he stayed out of reach and went on a purely support role in the group, then the Guardians might have actually been able to defeat him in a straight up fight had they ALL have been in the right frame of mind to go all out and kill him from the very start.

while somewhat inconsistent we see Flaxans age and die within few minutes. aging about the equivalent of 60+ years in +-3 minutes would put the rate at 20 years a minute, thats 1200 years an hour and 28.8 thousand years a day.
even with the Viltrumite longevity they would have a lifespan measured in weeks at most ...
