    In Part 1, I explained how to assemble this product. In this video, I show you how to use the Baby Breeza Formula Pro One Step Food Bottle Maker. Not only will I discuss how to use it, but also offer quick tips, suggestions and insight about my experience using this machine. I also talk briefly about the pros and cons and offer some additional relevant advice. This product works much like the Bottle Genie.

    If I have another kid and had to use formula I would DEFINITELY buy this! Breastfed my first, bottlefed my second (my ducts clogged, got mastitis, and couldn't produce milk), and breastfed my third. No one should judge anyone for feeding their baby the best they can.
    Breastfeeding should be tried and if you can't, then you buy the best formula you can afford. Make sure those babies eat and grow.

    Haven’t used mine yet but I’ve cleaned it twice now and it’s always a breeze. If you clean the funnel daily by just rinsing, it will never cake up. Also, cycle the tank water with a little white vinegar to clean the hoses inside should you feel it’s necessary. The machine is designed to not be cleaned from inside the tank, all that’s required is to do a flush cycle by pressing ounce, start and stop simultaneously. Always clean with purified water, never ever use tap.

    I would think that you can run 1:3 vinegar and water through the tank (making 5-10oz bottles) then run it again with fresh (boiled and cooled) water sort of like you do a coffee maker but we know you don't have to boil the water first for a coffee maker.. To keep the mold and buildup down and it should probably be done monthly like you do a coffee maker.

    • @MaddiesDaddy
      @MaddiesDaddy  Před 7 lety +1

      That's a really good tip Kim! I'm always so paranoid about mold so I tend to err on the side of caution with these things. If we have another one, and we decide to use this again, I'll definitely go through the process you mentioned. Thanks so much for your feedback!

    Got a used one and it dispenses too little water. Vinegar did not help to decalc. Turns out it's a mechanical failure in the pump - it is sucking air through seals. As an engineer, I took it apart just to find it vastly overengineered (the usual thing when bussinness is run by marketing and engineering is outsourced) and made very cheap, down to a point it barely works. It uses 6-degree reduction gear with big straight teeth which is the source of noise, instead of using single silent worm gear. It also uses a separate DC motor with 2-degree reduction gear just to act as a 3-way valve (which could be done with single $3 part). There are lots of chinese characters inside the unit, wires alone are so flimsy, almost hair-thick. The pump that failed is custom-made and all glued together, it is non-serviceable and an ubobtainium part.
    Also overall food-safety of this unit is very doubtful: no sterilization of any kind, it keeps the water at 37C all the time, which is the perfect medium for bacteria to grow.
    After seeing how it works inside, I definitely and STRONGLY do not recommend it for anyone.
    I also own a tommee tippee water dispenser that I wanted to replace with this one, as tommee tippee is slower and needs manual add of powder, however it has a proper water filter and a hot-shot with boiling water and steam, effectively disinfecting itself and the bottle.
    Buyers, beware. Search the forums and reviews, these units are notorious failures and all you get is a headache at best, or a seriously ill baby.

      @circuitdotlt Před 5 lety +1

      I did not see it in person, but some reviews state it is bit more quiet, so obviously the gears were touched at least. I really hope they have addressed the pump issue, as no doubt this was their warranty nightmare.
      I don't like the tank in the back, though, as I have it close to the wall.

Second when done vinegar. Poor a full tank of fresh water threw it. This will get rid of left over vinegar smell . Or rinses more to your likening. Great video thanks.Baby Baby.

    when you're trying to clean any type of fluid line, you're never going to be able to use physical disruption on every surface that the water/liquid comes into contact with. Because of this, most liquid machines/devices/systems (i.e. coffee maker, formula maker, beverage dispenser at a restaurant, liquid chromatography setups for drugs manufacturing, etc) rely on liquid cleaning to do the job. For example, a weak solution of sodium hydroxide or bleach can be passed through the system and cleanse/disinfect all of the surfaces that come into contact with liquid. This approach is far better than the fantasy that you'll somehow be able to use physical cleaning methods on every millimeter of surface (e.g. using a pipe cleaner, brushes, etc).. While some of these tools can be useful, they're usually used in conjunction with liquid cleansing techniques. Do a little research into which liquid chemical solutions can be used to effectively clean, disinfect, and are food-safe.

    • @MaddiesDaddy
      @MaddiesDaddy  Před 6 lety +1

      I can’t remember off the top of my head how many ounces this holds. I am guessing it holds 40 oz. if you make 8 oz bottles, then you’d be able to make 5 bottles before changing the water (5 x 8 = 40) if I recall, a baby needs 32 oz a day, so essentially adding water once a day is about right...it’s easy to add water.
