I agree with you on the overall aesthetic looking somewhat cheap but looking at the actual movie suit it looks rubbery. What other material could they have used to simulate that look?
No clue I don't make figures or really customize but I feel like that was the cheap way to go which is fine. Soosootoys gives you great product for extremely great prices. But that suit 🥲
sometimes for some of these characters you don't need things to be super expensive! This one will look good in a nice museum pose

Seriously, rethink passing on Soosoo's Comedian. I don't have the Hot Toys version, but the Soosoo one is killer. I predict if you get it and do a comparison video with Hot Toys Comedian (especially given that oil problem!!!) you will be like "what was I thinking?" by not replacing the Hot Toys figure with Soosoo's.
