Scarlett Johansson apparently confirmed her involvement in this film on The Kelly Clarkson Show a couple of days back. I'm guessing it should air in the coming weeks.

1:50 I think it MAY be, not entirely sure but a theory of mine, for a scene supposed to be set in Costa Rica. If you pay attention, besides the Van Dijk name there's a flag that resembles very much the Costa Rican flag 🇨🇷 It could also be the Thai flag, since they're kind of similar. But who knows!

I did some research because I'm convinced with the casting this is going to be a "recruiting a team for an expedition/ military mission" type movie and fun fact, Tobin Bell is in the casting and apparently of Dutch origin. So I'd bet money this is the scene where they recruit him to join the team.
there's a lot of unconfirmed and baseless rumors out there that I'm not going to put any stock in until it comes from official sources and that cast list with character names that I'm pretty sure you found, is one of those unverified "sources of information"
I don’t mind that we are going back to tropical areas, so far they are brining together a good crew for this movie so I have hope, hope we see any news for Jurassic park survival during Jurassic June

I would love if Rexy doesn't appear. Let her retire and live her life in BioSyn sanctuary with Buck and Doe. I read her contract which says that she will end her career in 2022 for movies only. Jurassic Park Survival is a different story

To be honest, I just hope they'll continue their portrayal of the dinosaurs as animals and not monsters - granted I had the same fears with the other Jurassic World movies as well.

It whould be cool if theres a chase scene were there are raptors or any other dinosaur
I also hope they go beyond the islands. I love the islands, but maybe expand lore on the islands, all established Nublar and Sorna were used for dinos/prehistoric reptiles, but maybe some other dinos not originally on the roster were secretly being created on the other islands which are now also roaming the world. Maybe just a flashback to other creations in secret on tge other islands, similar to how they added to the roster in JP3, with Spinosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Corythosaurus being an expansion of dinos not originally on Ingens list.

they aren't filming in Hawaii, at most, they probably just took pictures so they can recreate areas from Hawaii in a sound stage

I believe this film is gonna be a success because Gareth is a great filmmaker and he respects the original source material (look at rogue one). Plus I respect Gareth too much to think he's gonna fail this movie

I will say that Van Dijk sports bar could be there for real. Sergio Van Dijk was a dutch football player that played in the Indonesian League, not sure how good he was?? But he did play for a Thai team I think.
