Chen Long didn't seem as driven anymore after 2016, he was also beaten by prime Momota consistently. Back when Chen Long had to prove himself against LCW, he was such a strong attacker, but later he just started playing less aggressive.
Chen really won world Championship in 2014 , 2015 and the Olympics in 2016 that's a crazy run out there and i think him and lin dan are the only ones to do it
I’m doubt that…prime Chen long shown at Olympic 2020 as his skills and pace were way better than he was at 2016 Olympic…he is smarter and more stable in 2020…don’t judge the books by its cover…he’s not old but more mature at 2020 Olympic…if u judge like that, then why wouldn’t u said LCW was in the form and age of 2012 Olympic would have beat Chen long in 2016? 32 years not old man for male players but they’re at the peak. @@9854690 nah, badminton prime ends at 28 or so not due to physical power but due to reaction time. LCW is literally a freak of nature so he's the exception. Chen Long's peak was as good as LCW but it was obviously over by 2017.
@@jayceh Not really. Lin Dan won his 5th World Championship in 2013 when he was turning 30, and his second Asian Game gold the year after in 2014. LD started declining after surgery on his knee, and also due to father time finally catching up. Going into your 30s it becomes harder to maintain fitness, as the ravages of age deteriorate year by year. The reason why LCW could stay at the highest level despite being in his mid-30s was because of his self-discipline. Unlike Lin Dan who had won it all, LCW stayed hungry until the end of his career for that elusive major title.

The number of unforced errors that Viktor did in first game were way too high. Right from from the start of the game. Indicating that he was not probably ready for this stage yet mentally.
If this lanky Danish boy grows into his body and gets a little bit more patient, he might get very good at this stuff. Not a bad start for his very first Olympics I guess.
