- At 67 kilometers, you would need more than 2 hours and 20 minutes to complete the full route. As it is summer, it is nice to head to Belgian coast to describe at the longest tram line in the world. I think all the different towns and villages you will pass through, as well as a view of the sea, will not bore you :)
This video is the 17th episode of the series Urban Transport, with full-on descriptions of various urban public transport networks (for now in Europe).

Hi there! Getting ever closer to the goal of hitting 1000 subscribers. It would really help me if you subscribe to my channel, ensuring I can keep making videos like these for years to come :)
I think this is without a doubt one of the most unique tram systems in the world and definitely on my bucket list as is Plopsaland De Panne for their roller coasters. The two would make for a great vacation experience on the Belgian coast!
i have been on the coast tram and seeing this video really made me apreciate it
Thank you! 😁😁
Good video!
Thank you! 😁
De HermeLijn komt deze zomer weer terug wegens tram tekort door het buiten dienst stellen van de BN LRV 6000
Really interesting tram line, thanks for bringing attention to it in such a nice video! I wonder if you have plans on what places/systems you're exploring next?
Thank you very much! I have quite an extensive wishlist with systems, as well as some other video ideas. Top of mind for now are large cities like Riga, Budapest or Berlin, but also smaller ones like Liepāja, Liège (whenever it opens) or Luxembourg. I generally try to balance a bit between larger and smaller systems/cities 😁
@@realdronthego Very nice! I hope you add Tampere to the list as well, which has a tram system that is only 2 years old :)
Also that one is on the list😁
@@realdronthego perfect :D
