After Hong Kong became a British colony, the British government built Central & Sheung Wan as City of Victoria and actively developed Hong Kong. But the local Chinese at the time had a different Interpretation. This time I will share
the so-called "Four Circles & Nine Yeuks" at the time.
The map shows a place called "West Point", which is located at the current location of Western Street. If we refer to Causeway Bay's East Point - "East Point", North Point - "North Point", "West Point" should be translated as "西角", but the name "西角" is seldom seen in the records of the general use of Chinese and Chinese characters. However, the name "West Point" is seldom found in the records of general Chinese usage and Chinese characters. Instead, "Western District" has replaced "West Point" as the name today.

版主，多謝介紹，但有少許錯誤。7：25所介紹的港島西廢物轉運站是建於1990年代，是十分現代化，藏於大山洞內的建設，與堅尼地城荒蕪年代無關。該廢物轉運站由於藏於大山洞內，且設備先進，所以環保清潔，不似屠房丶焚化爐丶殮房等厭惡性！

Originally, Wan Chai was described as a small bay located at the present day Queen's Road East, Tai Wong Street East and Tai Wong Street West near Hung Shing Temple. At that time, Queen's Road East was already the harbourfront. The local people called this small bay as Wan Chai, so Wan Chai was the local name. Ha Wan was the official name and was officially changed to Wan Chai by the British Hong Kong Government in 1881.

不嬲西營盤，石塘咀，西環都係分開咁叫，但係呢十幾廿年唔知邊個開始將全部都叫做西環。從來冇人會話上環隔籬就係西環，有咩官方正式文件訂明有“四環九約”將西營盤都當埋西環既講法？抑或以訛傳訛當真？上中下環隔籬唔等如就係西環，正如大口環隔籬唔等如就係西環。

睇返1940年出版既「香港九龍便覽」，都淨係叫堅尼地城做西環，然後東面為石塘咀，再東為西營盤，原本應該係三個地方嚟。本書仲有講上中下環既東面先係灣仔，既係下環係金鐘位置。
