It was rare in Afghanistan to know where the enemy was exactly. A lot of waiting and guessing. But when targets were located it was 300 plus out. They would shoot and run and you never really knew if you killed a target a lot of the time.

Some of the games as of recent have been plagued by new players being SLs with no comms and people just running and gunning. Just stick with the game man youll love it when you get into a good match.
I've been playing for a while, take it slow take it easy, i recommend playing medic or rifleman for a good long time to understand the basics. but as long as you listen to you SQUAD LEAD u will be good

This map looks nothing short of stunning, love the terrain of Afghan, and this has to be one of the best Afghan maps I have seen, gotta reinstall Squad and try it out.

@@BattlesuitExcalibur BFV has mandatory deploy to ads things like the Browning A6 or MG42 and then everyone complains that support gunners are campers.

M240b is one of my favorites, providing overwatch while my Squad/Team advances is just awesome, great distraction too. The enemy knows I'm providing suppression but by the time they figure out what is going on, they're getting overwhelmed with my team mates. It's just an awesome weapon
When a Squad map looks better than most open world RPG's...

Ive found out the prone ads bug is caused by having the crouch and toggle bipod under the same keybind, if you change the toggle bipod to a different key it fixes it! atleast for me it did!

Map Officialy came from Midnight Interactive , a team of 1 fired OWI Dev , and some other people . OWI themselves have now bought the map and changed it , same with the name

I know it isn't but this looks a lot like eastern WA state, I live around Seattle. The East side is dry desert with pine trees and foothills just like this. Yellow dead grass as well
The Afghanistan map Kamdesh they added a couple years ago always reminded me a bit of parts of Eastern WA and N Idaho.
