    Video showing the replacement process for spark plugs on a 1.4tsi VW GOLF VI CAXA engine code. Also valid for other VW Audi Group cars like Skoda Octavia and Seat Leon. Techniques for removal of the ignition coil packs to access and replace the spark plugs. this is a necessary job as a service item.
    Tools:
    T30 torx
    4 Cable ties
    Spark plug socket
    Torque wrench
    Flat head screwdriver
    Grease safe for rubber elements
    Some basic skills ;)
    Specs:
    Tightening torque for spark plugs in this engine: 25Nm

    Thank you for the video. One side note. If you tighten the new spark plugs it is better to lay your hand on top of it and keep the tool balanced. It is very easy to crack the porcelain of the new spark plug.

    Thanks a lot for the video. Number 4 is really a disaster. By mistake I broke the thin air tube between the 3rd and 4th spark plug. The engine still seems to works fine. However, a small stream of air leaks. Do you know what for is that tube? Thanks again.

    For me it doesn't work with the cable ties

    Yep...cable ties might work if coils not been in place for 10 years!!

      No,coils is not something you change often
