My instrumental of a ballad that likely needs no introduction. But added for anyone new to the song. Composed by Harold Arlen with lyrics (below) by E.Y. Harburg, "Over the Rainbow" was featured in the 1939 film "The Wizard of Oz". It was sung by actress Judy Garland and won the Academy Award for Best Original Song. It then became her signature song for the next 30 years.
    [Intro]
    [Verse]
Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high,
There's a land that I heard of once in a lullaby.
Somewhere over the rainbow, skies are blue,
And the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true.
    [Bridge]
Someday I'll wish upon a star
and wake up where the clouds are far behind me.
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
    away above the chimney tops,
    That's where you'll find me.
    [Verse]
Somewhere over the rainbow, blue birds fly.
Birds fly over the rainbow; why, then, oh why can't I?
    [Outro]
Oh why oh why oh why ..can't I?
