      DNP and PHD are both doctorate degrees. I believe NPs can advance to DNP while MN/MSN can advance to PHD in Nursing.

    Hi Onyeka,
    I just want to say thank you for sharing your experience. It's been very enlightening for me.
    I've been combing CZcams for hours, and this is the only video I can relate to
    I'm currently doing a bachelors in Biochemistry in Nigeria and I've been thinking of pursuing a Masters in Public Health in Canada right after.
    I'm currently doing my IT at a public health facility, and I've just fallen in love with Nursing too.
    I spoke to a friend about it, and she keeps telling me I'm confused 😂
    It's good to know that I can still get an MPH and pursue Nursing, if I please.
    Thank you so much again. You look beautiful.❤️

      I don’t think you need to be licensed here (don’t quote me) but you will need to have been evaluated for an RN by the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) as possessing an education at least equivalent to a diploma level before applying.

    Fast track ( Nursing after completing a degree) take two years not a year.
    As well, correction: NP is not the highest in nursing. NP is a master’s program.
    PHD in Nursing is the highest.

    • @OnyekaAsamaka
      @OnyekaAsamaka  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Yes you are right regarding the highest level of nursing, I stand corrected.
      But the accelerated nursing program? I completed mine in 19 months not 2 years and I only said “less than 2 years” not 1 year.
      If you pay close attention to the thumbnail, it said “ one year +”. Also NP can be a diploma and not a masters degree depending on if you already have a masters degree.❤️
