It was so awesome to meet you guys in person!! Thank you for the candy and signing my skateboard!! You are my hero’s of Car Audio!! Keep up the amazing work guys!!
Respect for your attention to detail. It's what you do when no one is watching that counts, and a lot of installers, mechanics, etc. are very sloppy with things they think no one will see.
I replaced my speakers with the Kicker KS series, installed a Kicker Key and a Kicker Hideaway 8” in my 3rd gen Tacoma. Since I have a sub would I flip the crossover dip switches or leave them off since the sub isn’t hooked up to the Key? I’m not too happy with the results so I’m trying everything to make it sound better. Seems like all the sound is coming from the tweeters and I’m hardly getting anything from the back speakers
Don't use DC offset in a RAM. The headunit turns on randomly and WILL turn the amp on. With noone to open the door to cut power it will drain your battery. Run a 12v accessory for turn on and all is well. I found out the hard way :(
I know in your video that you marked the wires so you wouldn't hook them up wrong at the head unit but what if you didn't mark them and you did hooked them up the opposite way, would that destroy the kicker key? Just asking for a friend lol
Hi, dumb question… I have a PAC T harness for a 2024 Civic non Bose. Can you tell me please where my harness marked {to amp} goes on the Kicker key? Is it the long end where the red black blue harness is or the rca side? The input/output confuses me. Thanks so much I assume the {from amp} on the harness goes to the rca part of the Kicker.
Within a factory Hyundai infinity system, is a LOC required or will running high level straight into the amp be sufficient? I’m looking to add both highs and sub amp
I was truly disappointed the Kicker Key 200.4 can't "bi-amp" components up front that have a "Bi-Amp" passive crossover. if you try going straight 4ch mode it will detect the tweeters and force you in to "Bi-amp" mode (3.2khz HP/LP) after MANY attempts and Trials.... Ithe best output was No Focal passive X-overs in my wife's Highlander and the Key 'Bi-Amp"ing the front stage.... still a great little amp, i'm the less than 1% with this problem. ;)
