There will always be a version 2, which will be better.....
But hopefully not more expensive

It's released now on their website. Looks pretty amazing, although expensive and it says: "Tripod X is not designed to provide movement to the camera during shooting. The automatic features of Tripod X are intended for use while setting up your plans."
Strange because the product page on their site shows just such a shot.
@@BillAckerman It is timelapse photography so technically not "during shooting". I wonder if there's too many micro jitters for video? Or maybe it's just to lower expectations for people who think they can combine it seamlessly with their MoCo systems, sync everything up perfectly and do repeatable looping and whatnot.
This is the first generation of a new product, so expect a frustrating experience. I've recently purchased a significant amount of their equipment (6 modules), and the cornerstone of their lineup, the slider (v5!), performs poorly.
When I presented customer support with videos showing the equipment malfunctioning, they ignored most of them, offered numerous excuses, then boldly claimed to be the best in the industry before ultimately ghosting me. Given they are based in Turkey, there's not much I can do about it. It's noteworthy that one of their last emails boasted of having the highest standards, then they ceased communication. This says a lot about their approach to customer service.

The problem stay the same. Edelkrone is not a brand to trust. Poors gears not to work in the field. A slider pro 1 user. I still have it. I send it to be repaired but still noise and vibration. 800 € for nothing.
