I have always said that our guys are some of the finest. Very friendly and very paternal from the ones I have come across. Always enjoyed meeting them in the legion and remembrance day. Just really breaks my heart that they are becoming fewer and fewer as the years go on. Thank you to all canadian vets.

I could not agree more. I am an American who has been to Vimy Ridge, Paschendaele, Juno Beach, and the cemetery at Bretteville. But I have got to tell you that when I entered the Abbey D' Ardennes ten years ago and saw the photo/ portraits of those young Canadiens who were murdered by the SS I was physically overwhelmed. I only had seconds to look at those faces before they blurred away in tears.
I could tell they were some of the finest.
      Thank you veterans. Bless you.
