@@philipboulter8975yeah, surface... they're all certified welders in los angeles. id imagine the pay is lower elsewhere however because of the costs of living. though everyone is going to be paid more because of this absurd inflation. they all got a 25% pay raise negotiated through the union on top of that. but i see what you mean, as far as a manufacturing gig for a small or medium company, they're probably not paid nearly as much with little benefits

No they are not a 7018, They are not dipped in grease,paint,wax, All wet welders do not earn 100k+ a year no matter what currency you are paid in.
the welders at my company are paid 130k and have a pension when they retire.
