- Express Yourself was pretty much about getting to know the kids you saw every day on TV.
The second wave starts off with Disney Channel stars expressing their thoughts on the 9/11 tragedy 1 year later.
The 2nd generation of Express Yourself (filmed sometime in 2002) aired from September 2002 - December 2003 with the 2nd set of shorts including some new and returning stars from Disney Channel shows and DCOMs such as:

In the Spring of 2003 the stars of That's So Raven also discussed ways to help in their communities which was sponsored by the Disney Adventures Magazine.
Fun Fact: Christy Carlson Romano was the only one out of this group to film a Wand ID but not any scenes for Express Yourself
But what about Courtnee Draper?, she was appearing on The Bold and Beautiful (from April to October 2002) around the time this was filmed. Maybe she didn't get to do it til' (possibly) later.

@@DarkManX16 In April 2001, but new episodes continued to appear until March 2004 it was taken off reruns in June that year.
@JHollowayNetwork I know but that's just how tv networks do things. They probably say wasn't really popular and Disney was simply done with it. Which is why they showed new episodes early in the morning and reran it regularly late at nights
@@DarkManX16 So they probably didn't show the Wand IDs late at night when they were introduced? and "The Jersey" moved to a graveyard slot during its last several years.

I came to find out if there was more context to Spencer Breslin saying "if you had heard me last year, that's all I would've been talking about" because it caught me so off guard and I burst out laughing at the statement, but now I'm just sad that this poor kid was traumatized and had a terrorist attack on his mind all the time.

I love the express yourself commercials. The jazz, the casual conversations, the smiles. Such classy vibes. They should have kept on doing them.

I was four years old during 9/11 and my old pastor’s friend was in flight 93 and my old pastor’s friend’s name is Todd Beamer and he was the one who sed let’s roll .

It’s two different songs! I’m only sure because I’m listening to SMS now and just knew these commercials were where I heard it for the first time but they’re not the same, but sound *very* similar.

At that time I thought tia and tamera were much older at the time. Because I was watching Disney for years and they were not on Disney as an original Disney show. I remember when their show was coming to Disney, for months they would advertise the airing and me and my sisters anticipated the airing of the first season for months and I remember when it finally aired. Omg thank your for the great childhood Disney.

Why didn't they have the stars from The Jersey (Courtnee Draper, Michael Galeota, Theo Greenly, Jermaine Williams and Brianne Prather) contribute for the second wave?, as the said show ended production in April 2001 (since Disney Channel had a 65-episode limit at the time). I know Courtnee Draper was appearing on The Bold and the Beautiful during the time this was filmed.
The show was being aired late at night during this time. So the show probably fell out of favor with Disney
