I didnt rotate my swab when I scrapped it on my cheeks, will it interfere in the results by any way or form? perhaps the results will be weaker and not so accurate because of that?
The return envelope is 15 grams with both vials and is self-adhesive. Both cheek swabs have predetermined breaking points just below the black line, so aim for them for clean cuts. The tissue is likely to bind humidity or eventual vial leakage.

Thank you for this comment. My dumbass forgot to weigh the envelope before putting on the stamps and I was worried that it wouldn't mail out. I also didn't write a return address so I was scared that I wasted my money 😢

there is a small stamp placement on the right of the envelope do i need to put the stamp there before sending it? And do i need to send the whole package as how it came or just the envelope - From finland
You just have to put the 2 vials in the envelope and send it. For the stamp, I don't really see what you're talking about but what I know is that you just have to put the 2 vials in the envelope and send it .

You should put the two vials of each DNA test in the separate envelope, sent with the kit. You can send all four envelopes in one larger envelope to the lab.

For best results, please do not eat, drink, chew gum, or smoke for 30 minutes before collecting your DNA sample. Not needed to do it first thing in the morning

@@Yeah_na 2 dna tests confirmed he is.:) 49.2% shared dna. I am simply not italian. Ethnicity is rather an estimation with these tests but dna percentages are 99.9% correct.

I've never doubted that my 3 siblings were actually my siblings and personally, I'm my father's twin so I knew damn well My parents are both my parents. I made my sister take the test and It confirmed that she's my sister. I just made my brother take the test a few minutes ago today (that's why I came back to this video to make sure that we don't mess up lol) and we just mailed the samples so now we're waiting.

One question: How do they know who's vials are if my name and address are not the same as my account? The vials have some code bars. I did registered the kit but did not write the activation code on the return samples.
Your activation code is automatically related to the barcode on the vials right from the start. They know it‘s your sample because they get the code from the vials matching the code you entered online.

When you activate online, they ask if you want your dna stored. If you reject, then they will destroy the vials after you get your results.

They take your dna from the cotton that has your saliva on it. Not the stick itself so no.

I dont know if theres a time limit. In my grandmother's case it took more than 3 weeks because the delay of international mailing process
