So many good memories came to my mind after watching the video. I moved to Detroit in October 2013 and wow it is nice to see how Motown has changed for good since then. I am glad to have spent 10 years of my life in Detroit.
Funny, lived in Texas all my life and maybe 10 years back I heard about a band called Texas, a band from the 80's Then I see this and...I guess it's the same band? So there's a European band called Texas with a song called Detroit City? haha I'm a little confused.

I'm so thankful for 120 minutes...it was a show on MTV. I was awake late one night and they played the video for Summer Son and the rest is history. I've been a huge fan every since.

A very 80s feel to this song. Great band, great vocals, great choice of vehicle that was most likely built in Detroit and before Hondas, Toyotas and the like building manufacturing plants in the US..
