This song is perfect to express how I feel about my 18 yr old daughter. SHE is what keeps me going. My worn out soul is dedicated to her...making sure she has a full happy life. She was diagnosed with epilepsy at 15. We will never let it win.

I have no children of my own and have never been married so I dedicate this song to my best friend of 16 years. You have stuck by my side through thick and thin in spite of what others have said and thought about me. You have been there for me when no one else was and have loved me and cared about me even when I didn't think I was deserving or worthy of it. These last 4 years have been hard for the both of us but we have been there for each other through it all in spite of what others have said or thought. But now things are changing. I am changing and for the better. I can't wait to see what God has in store for us. I love you Sherry Lynn and you truly have become my light. The best is yet to come!

I can’t stop listening to this damn song!! From the lyrics (which I thought at first he was singing about heaven. Then I saw pic of little girl. Thought she went to heaven and was praying like I’ve never that I was wrong! I googled and was RELIEVED … AND EVEN MORE OBSESSED …AND MORE IN LOVE WITH THIS SONG - and SULLY!! Never listened to them much back in the day but came across a live concert on here and that’s all it took was to see him beat some drums and caress a piano - and of course he was singing to me! But it was over! Or Game on rather lol ) but from the lyrics to his looks to his voice and everything about him - to the chemistry of the entire band - gives me chills… every frickin damn time I listen to it!
