The Marriage of Figaro (Le nozze di Figaro), K. 492, is an opera buffa (comic opera) in four acts composed in 1786 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, with an Italian libretto written by Lorenzo Da Ponte. It premiered at the Burgtheater in Vienna on 1 May 1786. The opera's libretto is based on a stage comedy by Pierre Beaumarchais, La folle journée, ou le Mariage de Figaro ("The Mad Day, or The Marriage of Figaro"), which was first performed in 1784. It tells how the servants Figaro and Susanna succeed in getting married, foiling the efforts of their philandering employer Count Almaviva to seduce Susanna and teaching him a lesson in fidelity.
The opera is a cornerstone of the repertoire and appears consistently among the top ten in the Operabase list of most frequently performed operas. - Hudba

Tempo a bit to fast from my point of view but bravissimo!! Magnificent
I think the score is marked presto actually. I think the tempo is perfect, especially as the orchestra was able to pull it off without a hitch and sound great.
It's not?
@@mydogskips2 exactly
@@varunsathya1912 Yup, I just went through about five other video performances of this and had to come back to this, although I wasn't really sure why I liked this the best, and then it hit me, it's the tempo, it is played just a tad bit faster than most which really makes for a lively and energetic performance.
Orchestra and conductor?

I want a request of The blue danube waltz by johann strauss II.
Isn't this supposed to be in D major? It sounds Eb M
Um.... well... you can be in A major and still sound like A minor. It can vary.
It sounds like D major then A major
Isn’t it interesting that this piece was seen as politically and socially unacceptable in its time due to the subject matter. However, with a good librettist and incredible composer, the piece has since become immortal.

beyond criticism
Yup. If there is such a thing as a perfect piece of music this would definitely have to be it, at least in my humble opinion.
@@mydogskips2
In my opinion humble opinion, Beethoven's "Große Fuge" has to be the most perfect piece of music

why doe have orchestra on piano?
Almost all notes of every instrument fit onto a piano
+Th31nputM0d3, whats missing
+Bryan Schlipp Jr. Seeing the notes on the piano allows one to visualize the music, in a graphical sense, and also get an idea of the chord structure of the piece, among other things. The presentation here is great as it shows the different sections of the orchestra, that is a rudimentary form of orchestration, as represented by different colors as well. The thing I would say could be difficult to grasp here is the rhythms, especially at the end where Mozart plays the winds against the strings, this is something which is clearly evident in the score however and adds great beauty and contrast to the finale of the piece.
Ohhh.... and nothing's missing, I believe a standard 88 key piano covers the full range of every instrument in the orchestra.
oh i get that
